The best era of motorsport in my opinion. One could buy a chassi from another team, add a Cosworth engine, a Hewland gearbox, add a Koni suspension, 4 tires and a bit of creativity on the design and that's it, you had an F1 in your garage.
It's a great tribute to the 70s Grand Prix, the most dangerous but also most epic era of motor racing. Images and music blend together perfectly. They were basically driving on circuits that had 50s safety norms, but the cars were much much faster, really dangerous period with lots of fatalities. And Stewart, Fittipaldi, Cevert, Peterson, Lauda ... those guys really were heroes. All the guys that raced back then. I still have a lot of respect for current f1 drivers, as of course there is still risk involved, but relative risk compared to the dangers in those days. And that's a good thing there is improved safety now, drivers shouldn't go to the funerals of their collegues every year, that's just crazy. Also very nice how you incorporated the tribute to Niki in it. His 4th place at Monza 1976 i think is still the greatest achievement ever in a GP car.
This damn near made me cry, it's just so well made that it hits you right in your feelings Especially the part about Lauda gave me goosebumps, as I'm an Austrian myself and perceived him as a sort of the countries hero while he was still alive Rip
I love those scenes at Monaco. First that long shot across the swimming pool section from the helicopter, and then that shot of the guy air shifting along the start finish line. Classic video, gotta come back to this every few months.
Amazing! There were a lot of emotional scenes here but the way Stairway to Heaven kicked off, accompanied by the aerial shot of Monaco.. That had me in tears man!
You´ve done it again. Once again creating a masterpiece full of emotions, sensitivity, epic moments and if were not, you made the epicity emerge. Go on Antti, we need you to keep showing all that huge moments, those gods riding his beasts...
Tks Mr Kalhola for this vídeo, the golden times never forget, braves drivers, good girls, Salut fron Brasil, remember something about Nelson Piquet on next video !
What great gift for my birthday man! Great to see you back with another masterpiece! We needed you Antti! Thank you very much for all your passion and dedication. I relived it on my own. Every video is an art work.
Ningun problema lo traduzco. I'll traduce it. "Antti, you'll never understand what I'm saying if you don't learn Spanish: you are the fucking master, master" The double master is because "amo" will be traduced as lord but in English the expression has master so I translated it that way and "maestro" is literally master.
What a magnificent Video!!!A true masterpiece!!!The golden era of f1 that is long gone.Exiting corners sideways...All the people back then, the drivers, the teams, the spectators, they couldn't know that they where living their best time of their lives!!!Awesome music too!!!
Gawd, 70s Grand Prix racing had so much damn style! Yes! I know reliability of the cars was awful and decided a few too many races, but these were (and still are!) bleeding edge expressions of engineering. Just to see them move and just how much a driver could express their personality in these cars was unmatched. Particularly drivers like Jody Scheckter and Ronnie Peterson, they really seem to speak through their cars.
Fantastic. Your videos just capture the essence of an era, of the emotion of these actions and adrenalin right out of a way of leaving, being man, realizing passion, without limits and at no costs, for the sole reason of doing it fast and strong. Beautiful. Thank you.
2:10 All I have to say is Yes! Some say the fan car is their favorite, I'm more partial to the Active Williams/Renault, but damn if that six wheel Tyrrell doesn't put a smile on my face! I know it had it's kinks to work out before it was banned but that type of innovation is why I love this '70s and '80s period of racing in all the diciplines!
I'm ashame I missed this one a month ago. Antti, you should be the officia video maker, director for FOM or FIA. You realy got the eye! Every video you produce almost make me cry.
Das waren Teufelskerle. Danke für das Video. Die Formel 1 ist der großartigste Sport, den die Menschheit je hervorgebracht hat. Zudem bin ich ein riesiger Fan von Stevie Nicks und Fleetwood Mac.
How nice surprise that is and the amount of work you put on your edit videos is enormous but the result is just perfect!!! Bravo sir for your good effort to leave a testament for next generations and not only!!!
and then happened senna.......and took it to a whole new level of intensity like never seen before on race track and in life.....god bless formula 1...respect to all f1 drivers
I love you Antti .... you really have this ability to make me cry with people who are stupid in the car. what a movie, thank you again for this other masterpiece. PS: 70-80 is the golden era of motorsport, even if i'm only 26 old i love the 70's car specially the sport of WSC: Alfa 33, ferrari 312 PB, porsche 908 and 917, Sebring, Targa Florio, Nurburgring....(isn't a suggest for next video :D)
...And our "motorsports guardian", returns more epic than ever... Retrieving new images and editing them with the right music is no easy task and you, my friend, do it perfectly. Thank you for the care and dedication in each video to please us and that’s priceless! Awesome, mate... Really awesome! Welcome back! Stay around, please. 😉
When the world needed him most, he returned
haha yes!
Antti Kalhola, back and again with an absolute masterpiece!!
2:10, loved that he included the Tyrrell, I know it had it's kinks but it's my second favorite F1 car behind the FW14 Williams/Renault Active car!
The best era of motorsport in my opinion. One could buy a chassi from another team, add a Cosworth engine, a Hewland gearbox, add a Koni suspension, 4 tires and a bit of creativity on the design and that's it, you had an F1 in your garage.
Best Era...where the power > grip
Really cool indeed. Salve!
@Ben W not true...many drivers were paying drivers like Lauda... money were always important
Money was and always will be the biggest factor in racing
imo 80's were better
3:16 just Hunt casually checking out the goodies...
i think he's a bit shocked lol
Who would'nt?
- Why so elegant Homer?
- Antti Kalhola just uploaded a new video
Another Antti Kalhola masterpiece.
We've missed you, old friend!
You publish once a year. But every time is pure Gold.

The helicopter shoots with the music is absolute dope
Like the every of your vids
Guess who's back, back again
Antti's back, tell a friend.
Woohoo
This damn near made me cry, it's just so well made that it hits you right in your feelings

Antti Back with the videos???? YESSSS BOIII
Chapman celebrating is the best thing ever lol
HE IS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
A shame this era is never coming back. Real men. Real machines. Almost no electronics. My favorite time of F1.
The BEST F1 vídeo I’ve ever seen from the golden era of F1 racing! The Best!!!
Top class. Beautiful images. Brilliant music. A fitting tribute to the great man.
Amazing! There were a lot of emotional scenes here but the way Stairway to Heaven kicked off, accompanied by the aerial shot of Monaco.. That had me in tears man!
The best sequence of the video, I can't hold my tears of emotion
He protecc,
He attacc,
But most importantly,
Antti Kalhola is bacc!
This has got to be your best! Glorious! And the music: Layla. Hawaii 5.0. Fleetwood Mac. Zeppelin. Stairway to Heaven. Thank you! So appreciated!
Every video in this channel gives me goosebumps.
This one starts with my favourite song and it's about my favourite era of F1
F1 official videos: lets rewind to the recent past.
Antti Kalhola: Did you even check your archives ?
This showed up in my recommendations, and I had no idea what to expect, but this is absolute art.

The most perfect video I've seen. Thank you, Antti.
Wonderfully curated and edited. A fantastic few minutes.
What a time to be alive.
That Depailler onboard at Long Beach is insane, at the same level that Ickx, shirtless, inside the car, or Chapman with his hair.
The great days.
Antti you are the one and only... Thank you for showing us your work and your sensitivity
I come here cuz I like what I see. Antti never deceives. He comes, drops his masterpieces, and the whole YT shakes the fuck down. Kudos for Sir Antti.
Like it, a lot. It's the 70's, I mean!
And welcome back. We needed you. Cheers!
What great gift for my birthday man! Great to see you back with another masterpiece! We needed you Antti! Thank you very much for all your passion and dedication. I relived it on my own. Every video is an art work.
The age of rockstars and not wankers 😂
Hands down the greatest f1 video I've ever seen. So glad I just found your channel.

Saudações do Brasil 🇧🇷
That is a stunning piece of editing, thoroughly enjoyed it.
The master is back 💪🏻
Golden era! Amazing vídeo!
Antti, jamás comprenderás lo que te digo si no aprendes español: eres el puto amo, maestro.
Un capo en toda regla antti
Ningun problema lo traduzco.
I'll traduce it.

That hair... Those open shirts... Truly the age of the playboy. The John Player Special era.
Nothing can describe the feeling of high speed adrenaline high octane fuel hot tires and a hint of Marborol reds.
What a magnificent Video!!!A true masterpiece!!!The golden era of f1 that is long gone.Exiting corners sideways...All the people back then, the drivers, the teams, the spectators, they couldn't know that they where living their best time of their lives!!!Awesome music too!!!
Mr James Hunt catching that guy on the button. Rare
Really nice Video!
Welcome back Commander

Kiitos, Antti. Brilliant video!
1:44 I was today years old when I discovered Denny Hulme enjoyed a coke during his pitstops.
Nice soundtrack on this one
The greatest come back since Lazarus ! Thanks Annti ! What a masterpiece!
The quote from Jochen Rindt even more poignant as he is the only post-humous F1 champion
Now we just need an edit with 90's rally.
i could watch this tributes all day 😁
