JB ONeill and Graeme Burress build a wakeboard kicker. for wakeboarding on the lake. INSTAGRAM - @jb_oneill @graemeburress GRAEMES CZcams - @GraemeBurress
THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!! I WOULD BE SO HYPED IF YOU COULD TAKE THE TIME TO SUBSCRIBE AND STAY TUNED FOR FUTURE WAKEBOARD ADVENTURES! NEW VIDEOS EVERY 2ND DAY FOREVER!
I just did the same thing bro I just started a month ago!!!!! And JB has done nothing but helped me progress the whole way through 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 I’m already trying flips off kickers
It's called FRP, fiberglass reinforced plastic. Turned out much better than I expected, considering the number of things you "eyeballed." Can't wait to see you rip on it!
From some of my own diy projects I have some advice on defining the transition of the kicker: For a proper transition, just use a piece of rope and you can easily create a radius of your choice 🤓
Yeah I always do that when I build mini ramps for skating, but on here I like it pretty mellow at the bottom with a tiny bit of lip at the top so I draw it with hand
Super cool tutorial. I feel like the only thing I would have done different is paint the 2x4’s as well. Just a little less chance to rot that way. How does that plastic slide compared to what is normally at cable parks?
It’s slippery, but I’d imagine if it were on a cable with 8 carriers full of people maybe it would wear out quickly, but for winching I think it would last forever
Should this kicker float or she stands on supports? In the first case the the floating foam cannot have the same thickness anywhere. The forward part has a much bigger weight to, hence needs more buoyancy. By the way the rider impact is quite horizontal at the beginning of the kicker, but then a pushing effect occurs and the kicker sinks. More buoyancy forward!
the kicker its really nice dude! just wanted u to warn about the rust on left side of the truck, be careful with that, try to do something before its too late! awesome channel btw
@@jboneill thanks I just looking to probably to buy a 2.0 system but with home made obstacles what do you think is the best top I was looking at hdpe plastic but what dose unit use

Thank you for this video👍
What about a proper radius for kicker?
What size it should be?
As a woodworker and former builder, this was simultaneously hard to watch and satisfying to see that it came together in the end. Ready, shredy, go!
Hahaha yeah I just wing it
Just got into wake boarding and I watched a bunch of your videos to familiarize myself 🤙🤙
Thanks for watchinggg!!

@@jboneill awesome dude! love your channel, saw almost every video, keep killing it 👊🏼🤙🏼

Yo what are the approximate dimensions? Just wondering the height, length and width before i go buy materials. Trying to make one of these at home
Man I’m not exactly sure I just winged it, but 8 foot long, 4 foot wide and probably like 3 foot 6 inches tall would be my guess
Hi JB, hope to see you in 313 park (Lithuania) ;)
see you soon!
@@jboneill when is your flight ? (when are you going to be in Lithuania?)
just hit my first every back 9 so stoked
does the legend reply?
Yuhhhh boiiii
Can you make a video for good boards for beginners
I’ll be honest the freepress is probably the easiest board to ride ever
Are you sure you dont want to quit wakeboarding and get into the construction trades. Lol

What do you use on top plastic
it was like that stuff you see on the walls of like a doublewide bathroom
@@jboneill thanks I just looking to probably to buy a 2.0 system but with home made obstacles what do you think is the best top I was looking at hdpe plastic but what dose unit use
