  • As time goes along, compost and dirt slowly builds up in your landscape rock so instead of buying new, clean it and make it look new.

How's she goin'? It sure doesn't take long for washed gravel to fill up with dirt and dust. This is a good way to clean it. I like the table set up with the hinge. Thanks for sharing. Take care!!

I was surprised at how much dirt was in the gravel but it cleaned it up good. Thanks Mike. Stevo

You have to do something to make washing rock fun. Stevo

Simple but it worked. I would have to be drinking something if I was going to do it all day though. Thanks Vern. Stevo

I want to know how the 1/4" mesh and shelving are attached to the frame. I am removing gravel from my yard and this looks perfect!

I believe it is sandwiched between those strips of wood. One below and one on top. It worked pretty good. Thanks for tuning in. Stevo

It might be a good idea to set up your system and use the wastewater near plants. You are literally washing dirt? I have a similar setup. but I do it near plants. I live in Vegas so we try to conserve water.

That is a great idea. A little dirt in the water won't hurt a thing. I will pass that on to my buddie for the next time he does it. Thanks. Stevo

I would put a Gorilla cart under to catch the loose stuff. Remove when washing

I have not heard of a Gorilla cart before. Will have to look it up. Thanks. Stevo

Great if you've got a strong back and a good 6 weeks to dedicate to this. Imagine a bed with any size to it and then doing this. Work fine but about the most labor-intensive project you could do. Hire it out at exhorbitant cost, too.

I was glad that it was a friends project and not mine. It does take some time to do but fortunately he only had a small area to do. Thanks. Stevo

This was a friend doing this and he said it took about two hours or so. It does require some patience. Thanks. Stevo

@@vmobile890 Anytime you can mechanize a process life gets better. I thought of using a cement mixer to wash the rocks. Just a thought. Thanks. Stevo
