Thanks for the explanation on the double bonus holding ace and holding or not holding an off suit face card with or without a blocker. I’ve been playing double bonus for years and have always held the off suit face card since there’s no kicker involved.

What is the reason you put $10,000 in the machine?
Any time Jamie plays, he puts his entire budget in the machine. In this case, there were four people in - so $2500 each. They typically play together with the expectation that is the machine isn’t flowing, they won’t go below half of the buy in. So why not just put half in your May be asking. Well, I think it’s a mental thing. It doesn’t skew play like it could when you’re down to your last dollars in the machine.

I can understand if it's a pool of 4 people and each has a buy-in of $2500, in the event he gets some huge jackpot and then there's no dispute in dividing it up. I thought maybe the machine gets looser the more money is put in the machine or something.
