Hello, the Tesla has recognized the new shock absorbers automatically? It was able to recalibrate the gas inside the shock absorber itself? Do you have the video of the 'old' shock absorber opening? Thank you for your videos. Ludovic from Switzerland
I didn’t do any calibrations on it, I just replaced it and turned jack mode off and it’s been great. I’ll get a video posted of the old shock, thanks for the suggestion.

What’s the year and mileage?
2017 and 123k miles.
Did you buy the part from Tesla? $200 sounds crazy cheap. I just got quoted $900 from Tesla.
I didn’t. I got it off eBay.
@@teslamike7476 Was it a brand new one for $200 on ebay or used one? Can you please share us links on ebay for this part for 200?
It was a one off.
Any issue with the ebay struts?
It’s been great. It is a Tesla OEM strut, I’m not sure I would go 3rd party.
@@teslamike7476 where did you find oem for 200 bucks on ebay?
I just searched for it and it came up so I bought it.
