    Created and taught by Parkinson’s expert and Doctor of Physical Therapy, Joellyn Fox, each Friday we will release a new 12-minute video. This series is designed to build on itself and is a great tool for people with Parkinson’s, but also for physical therapists looking for ways to properly support and engage clients living with Parkinson’s.

    I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2001. Yes, 20 years ago and still going pretty strong. This program is just great. 6:Thankyou, mJoy and Parkinson Foundation.

    Is this video part of a series? I see one on posture and this one on strength. I need chair-based exercises like this for my father & I think this instructor and length are great!

      @@ParkinsonDotOrg she's going too fast parkinson's people cannot move that fast we shake and chair is not good for balance we cannot get up and down from chair so fast. Remember we shake. I can hardly get up out of chair. This is not good for balance or parkinson's

      It's not a great help do u shake can you just zip Dee and get up and down from chair so fast. This is a joke

    I have a question. I have pain in ma knees. I am scheduled for surgey....how can I do those exercises?

      Hi there - There is no “exercise prescription” that is right for every person with PD. The type of exercise you do depends on your symptoms and challenges.     This video is not good parkinson's person cannot get up and down from sitting position so fast we shake.

    I cannot lift myself up on my toes at all.
    Only if I bend into a squat can I lift my heels a tiny bit.
    My PT gal couldn’t explain it. Any ideas?

      @@cattycassals i just had an EMG of my legs yesterday. There is very little neuromuscular activity below my knees. Doc said totally non PD related. So, ataxia and peripheral neuropathy. 🙄
