Once you install and are using the app you should be able to use the app to reset it. If you have not installed the app, you can reset it by using the master finger and a pin to depress the master reset button. If you do not have the master finger, and do not have the app linked to the device, I am afraid there is not way to reset the device.
You can use both the app and finger prints to unlock the lock. The only thing is, once you install and connect the app, you must use the app to program your fingerprints in. Fingerprints that were programed before you installed the app are erased after the app is installed and you must reprogram them in using the app.

I got the small one for a backpack these locks are complete garbage. They don't pair to the app and any finger will unlock it defeating the purpose of a lock. No way to contact the company I definitely wouldn't recommend this garbage to anyone
Sorry to hear that. Have you tried contacting them through their Facebook page? That's about the only way I have found to get ahold of these Chinese companies.

mine got stuck after 2 month usage.. the lock wont open even with apps.. i think the engine was dead..

um. this padlock works with every finger, and even my toe was able to open it. be sure y9ou test it before using after putting admin fp on it!

Not advisable to purchase. Battery spoiled within less than 1 year and there is no way to change the battery. Total waste of money
