Nina Nastasia has just released Riderless Horse, her first album in 12 years. Nina needed to get back on her horse after the tragic death of her former manager/partner.
Excellent interview. It's so gratifying to see Nina in what seems to be a good place after so many years of hell. Her new album is brilliant, but harrowing. It's great she has more new music on the horizon and is so enthusiastic about it.
She made me excited for her new music, can't wait to hear how it might be different. She's so lovely and I'm glad to see her flourish and be happy and free.
She's so lovable. It's a bit weird when you notice that the Princess of Darkness kinda looks like your secondary school math teacher, but also kind of comforting in a way. I wish her all the best. She's damn well worth it. (And if there'd been any reasonable justice in this world, Mogwai would've been the opening act for her!)
Finally an update about her. I have been waiting for this for all these years!
Cannot wait to hear that new album as well! Woah!!

Riderless Horse is an immediate classic :)

Really great to see her doing a video interview finally. Thanks for posting!
