Great video. I had the opportunity to stay in the jungles of Borneo at a research facility off of the Kinabatangan River a few years ago (video on my channel). The animals I saw while there were amazing.

Brings back memories when we climbed up to the peak of Mt Kinabalu on Christmas Eve, and thanks to God the rain was held off until we were on our way down from Panalaban. We trained more than 6 months for the climb and found it still quite challenging.

子どもの頃からの夢の１つがラフレシアやウツボカズラを実際に見ることなので、いつかキナバル山に訪れてみたいです⛰
ウツボカズラはキナバル公園内で頻繁にみられますが、ラフレシアは場所と時期がシビアなので、渡航前にリサーチする事をお勧めします！
I wish you luck in pursuing those dreams 👍 But if for one reason or another you just cannot make it to mount kinabalu, the rare rafflesia may also be found in certain (very few) areas of sarawak, although the flower may not probably be as big as the ones on kinabalu, I'm not too sure about that fact so yes like aki advised, please do a bit of research first. This is a work of art..i would like to recommed you to visit Sabah in May to experience the largerst harvest festival celebration in Malaysia..it boast many unique traditional costume, foods, crafts and the peak of the celebration is the Crowning of Unduk Ngadau..which is the biggest Cultural Beauty Pageant in the world.
Aki Nabalu and Aki from Japan is match made in heaven.

Historical capital of SABAH. Kudat is the first capital of Sabah. Then change to Sandakan, after that to Kota Kinabalu till today.

The sunset here in Kota Kinabalu is apparently among the best in the world which I didn't realize (being a resident it's quite embarrassing to be honest😅) A few years back I struck up a conversation with a tourist on a flight from Guangzhou to Kota Kinabalu. I asked her about her itinerary and she said to watch the sunset from one of the best spots in the world. So, thank you Aki for doing justice to Kota Kinabalu. Once again, your video is truly amazing. Pls come back.

bro .. pls visit a rural place also .. i recomend Tambunan district ... can climb mountain there , a 1 day trip is to mount wakid in kampung sunsuron .. see u there bro .. :), good season is from july to december with a view of paddy field

At Sarawak to taste the Kolo Mee, Tomato Crispy Mee and Sarawak Laksa. Wild vegetables 'Midin'. And wild fruits Dabai, Wild Durian etc.
