#blurays #halfpricebooks #blurayhunting - Zábava
Those prices are crazy. Used blu-ray 📀 for $20 no thanks.
They look like they had some PRETTY SWEET Steelbooks there!!!
In TIme is a great flick, very entertaining and rewatchable
“The Way, Way Back” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, which is where I first saw it.
Those prices are wild. They’re essentially pricing them as if they’re brand new. They’d sell a lot more movies if they priced them accordingly
Recent releases are priced pretty high, but other ones are about $6 per blu-ray. $3 on clearance
The Way Way back is one of my favorites. Love coming of age movies.
Dunstin Checks In?! Hell To The Yeah!
Very Bad Things is such a fun film.
the last movie was a surprise! I actually own Gigantic when i was in my first apartments a few years ago there was a gas station or should i say there was a few gas stations in the area that sold dvds so i happen to actually buy the movie on a whim its actually something to watch every so often its enjoyable enough!
Cool shopping trip to Half Price books Ken nice pickups I haven't been to a half price books in many many years last time I was there I must have spent like 400 something dollars that's a lot to spend there 🆒🆒👍👍
I found the kino lobber of the the sixth man at my half price books
The Way Way Back is such a great movie
I really liked Very Bad Things! In Time was good. You pulled a movie off the shelf and I was hoping you'd get it but alas you passed..If you like The Faculty or Invasion of the Body Snatchers may I suggest grabbing The Puppet Masters from Kino! Also, It has a slip and reversible art!
You should have bought The Company Of Wolves. Underrated werewolf dark fantasy movie.
Besides that I would have grabbed Phantasm 2 and The Evil Dead (what was the price?)
I regularly go to Book Off and get blu-ray movies for $2.99.
Actually just grabbed Company of Wolves 4K!
In Time is a pretty good movie. The Sanctum movie you passed on is a good flick. Worth few bucks to get.
2:42 should of got Equalibrium
I would've grabbed In The Company Of Wolves in a second. AND it's an import and the original vhs cover!! Also Very Bad Things. I wish I wouldn't have traded it.
I wish I had HPB near me. Very Bad Things is one of my favorite dark comedies. Nice pickup!
Oh hey Ken and I shop at the same HPB very cool had no idea
Edit: Bought that 4K of The Shape of Water a couple days ago
I think I would've picked up that Kino Lorber Tomb of Ligeia with the slipcover, and maybe the Phantasm II.
I found the way way back new for £1 a while back
I say it was real nice of them to play that jiggy music for you and your browsing experience. Thirty bucks should yield you sixty bucks worth of movies! I have to use HPB on Amazon because they don’t have any stores closer than about six hours from me. I’ve had pretty decent experiences with them the few times I’ve made purchases, usually used Rodent House titles my conscience won’t allow me to buy new so no revenue is flowing their way.
The only thing I remember about Very Bad Things was a very distinct narrative that it was a horrible movie that bombed even worse when it released. I never saw it but that consensus was so loud on that one I distinctly recall it 24 years later.
Seriously, The Way Way Back was my FAVORITE film that year it came out! It’s SO good!
Zoey Deschanel said in response to a "mean tweet" about her being overrated that she thought she was underrated. Unfortunately that mindset according to which the entertainers think they can judge the audience has proliferated tremendously in Hollywood, and it's not working out well for them.
Thank you,greeat ! all the best! 🤗
Hair's lokkin' good, Kev. Please hurry with your Malcolm X review. 1) Seven Samurai 2) Godfather I 3) Goodfellas 4) Godfather II 5) Spike Lee's Malcolm X.
Zavvi had a terrifier 2 4k steelbook I'm glad I snagged it before they sold out
Great haul I have in time got new release
Those prices are absurd. I have a local shop which prices general Blu-Rays at $2.99, which I think is about right.
Yeah, I agree with what another person said here about the prices, they are pretty crazy!! Expensive as hell. 😳😬😕
In Time was great.
I got my copy with a slip years ago at 2nd And Charles, which is a local competitor to Half Price Books. You have the better chain, IMO.
I hate to say this, but I picked up 'The Way Way Back' for $3 Canadian a couple years ago brand new. It is a great find.
I first watched 'Very Bad Things' in a special preview prior to it's release in theaters. The one watch was good enough for me; I have never been tempted to pick it up on physical media, but hopefully you'll enjoy it more than I did. If not, we both will have spent about the same to view it, except you'll have a copy you can trade in afterwards whereas I just had 90 minutes I won't get back. You'll have to let us know how you liked it...
HPB can be pretty pricey. Me personally, I don't pay more than $5 for used media. I still need to check out The Way Way Back. I love In Time. So underrated. Nice pickups.
