  • In this DP Animation Maker Review, I will showcase some of the key features and functionality of this versatile animation app. DP Animation Maker (DPAM) is a desktop software with which you can take still images and animate them using the various animation tools available in this application.
    In DPAM you can animate pictures using a variety of animation options. For example, with the Effects section, you can apply animations like underwater, water mirror, rings of water, matric code, fire, and glass ball.
    These animation effects are applied to the whole image. If you want to apply specific animations to only specific sections of the image, you can use other animation options like: Animated Objects, Animated Brushes, Air Brushes, and Particle Systems. You can also add animated text to your images.
    Under these animation options, you can apply a ton of animations like moving clouds, falling snow, burning fire, lightning bolts, explosions, falling stars, fireworks, rays of light, smoke, falling leaves, and the list goes on.
    In this review I show you a few examples of images I’ve animated like waterfalls, falling leaves, and underwater animations. All these animation options can be fine-tuned and adjusted to suit your needs. Once you’re satisfied with your animated image, you can save the project and then render a video or animated GIF image.
    When you first use DP Animation Maker, you may find it a bit overwhelming because it is packed with a lot of features and functionality. However, once you take the time to learn how to use this animation software, you will enjoy using it. Also, I plan to create many video tutorials on how to use various aspects of DPAM, so feel free to check them out.
    You will find a link to the video playlist below. You will also find a link to the DP Animation Maker software below where you can download a trial version.

    how to change opacity of layers?

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 4 lety

      Hi there, the transparency option for layers will depend on the objects or effects that you use. For example, if you apply the Bokeh Lights layer, the transparency slider is in the "Base Properties" tab. If you apply the Clouds Brush, the transparency slider is in the "Perspective Properties" tab.
      BTW, the transparency slider is called "Translucency" in DP Animation Maker. I'm not sure if there is a transparency option for all layers, but in case you can't find one for a particular object or effect, feel free to let me know which one you're using and I can check it for you. Hope this helps!

    It needs a way to mask some of the effects, that sunlight should be behind the tree but the rays are in front of it. Does it allow masking at all?

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 6 lety

      Hi there, there are quite a lot of settings, like fading the intensity of the light at the top, sides and bottom. Also, you can control the transparency of the light, as well as, the color and the jitter. That being said, I don't think there are any masking options that you are referring to.

    Seems remarkably inexpensive Anthony.....any upsells?....Also...I don't see an affiliate link that I hoped to see......did I miss something?

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 7 lety +1

      Hi Peter, yeah, it is indeed more than reasonably-priced considering all the features it is packed with. No upsells, but they have separate Extension packs (or add-ons). You don't need them, but they are like extra assets which can be purchased later.
      You're right, at the moment, they don't have any affiliate relationship with affiliate networks, but they plan to in the future. So the link that you see in the description section is directly from the official website. Hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for stopping by!

    pls how can we loop a 1 hour video

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi there, I'm not sure if I understand what you're trying to do, so let me clarify. I'm assuming you created an animation in DP Animation Maker and you want to loop this video clip for an hour? If so, I would suggest using a video editor to do this.
      All you need to do is import the main video clip in your video editor and then just duplicate the video clip multiple times until you have a one hour long video. Once you do so, you can render the entire video project. Hope this makes sense and helps...cheers!

    Hi Anthony,
    Why some of the butterflies that I imported look square shaped? They seem to be imported like a jpeg file (printed on a paper, and animated on the paper itself, so looks like the whole paper is flapping, rather than the wings).
    Some bunches of imported butterflies from a different group look normal though.
    Same thing happens with some groups of birds too.
    Any solution/s to this problem at all?

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 5 lety

      Hi Sunil, I have not experienced this issue with the butterflies that I've used. Are you looking at the butterflies from the regular Animated Objects section? I've tried all the butterflies like Monarch, Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Small Cabbage White, and Orange Sulfur. They are all working fine at my end. Also, what version of DP Animation are you using?

    • @sunilkafle2170
      @sunilkafle2170 Před 5 lety

      @@AnthonyGodinho Yes Anthony, it's from the regular animated objects.
      I installed the program just yesterday after downloading from the developer's website and also the update check says I got the most recent version.
      I am using it on my laptop running Windows 10.
      cheers

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 5 lety

      Hi again Sunil, the only thing I can think of is that if you've added too many elements on the canvas, it will cause a memory issue. Try removing some of the animated elements. That being said, I would suggest reporting the issue to DPAM Support. You can let them know that you've communicated with me. If possible send some screenshots or a video recording of the issue.

      @@AnthonyGodinho Thanks Anthony for the reply. I was simply trying to edit the supplied Waterfall clip - removed the eagle, and added the butterflies.
      Anyways I will write to the support team and mention your name too. cheers.

      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 5 lety

      You're welcome Sunil. Oh ok, I see what you're saying. I just tried that same project file and I'm getting the same issue. I think it has to do with that project being created in an earlier version. I will also report the issue to DPAM support. Thanks for clarifying and providing the additional details. I'm off to bed now. Cheers! :)

    Hi Anthony,
    Any options to import and superimpose custom png images (cutouts) over the scenes?

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 5 lety

      Hi Sunil, no, at the moment, you cannot superimpose images on the imported background image. However, I will check with the developer if this can be implemented. Can your briefly explain how you would use the superimposed cutout images? Thanks for the suggestions

    • @sunilkafle2170
      @sunilkafle2170 Před 5 lety

      @@AnthonyGodinho Hi Anthony,
      I will be using them to create a scene (with or without animation added to it) for the videos that I will be creating using the combination. Additionally, adding a feathering option to the imported images/cutouts would be fantastic.
      cheers.

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 5 lety

      Ok, I think I understand what you're trying to achieve. I think it's best done using a video editor. What I generally do is created my animated images and background in DP Animation Maker and then take those animated video clips and do the video work in a video editor. But, I do like your feathering suggestions for the cutouts. In my earlier response to your other comment, I mentioned that you can export a video with transparent background (using the MOV export option). Hope this helps.

      @sunilkafle2170 Před 5 lety +1

      @@AnthonyGodinho Thanks a lot for the "mov" tips. I shall try that. Can't this option be added to MP4 as well? Some technical issues, is it?
      cheers

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 5 lety

      You're welcome Sunil. No, MP4 format videos by nature are like JPEG images (i.e. not transparent). Whereas MOV format videos are like PNG images that have the transparent nature. Hope that makes sense...cheers!

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 3 lety

      Hi there, DP Animation Maker is not designed to make 1-hour long videos. You can add multiple slides to create short videos and then use a video editor to compile your 1-hour long video.

      Hi there, I don't know what you mean, can you please elaborate? If you're referring to updates of the software, DP Animation Maker is updated regularly. However, when you buy the one-time license, you get updates for 6 months. If you want updates after that, you will need to contact the owner.
