We are moving there in 1.5 years. Have things to wrap up in CO but then we are going to be in Melbourne. Cannot wait to explore the fishing!!

@@JohnAppleseed-cy1rd hmm, i thought the interest rate hike would be long over by now.. it may have just topped. Then we have to see repos and foreclosures, then a correction. Probably a good 5 years to correct the interest rates. And, FL has a ton of new housing developments during this time. Thats why we planned out 1.5-2yrs
I moved out here (Satellite Beach) back in 2015 right before everything really started taking off literally! I don't know that I'd live anywhere else to be completely honest.

Yes Solarwaves in Cocoa is great! Generators are great. We've only lost power once for a few hours since living here but there are some areas that can be out for days after a big storm.

You’re welcome! Well, the power lines are underground there so less prone to power outages but can't guarantee it wouldn't happen.
Is Brightline going to rattle windows?
No, they won't rattle windows. Brightline trains are all Electric which makes the very fast and quiet. And they give off no emissions. The trains run through my area on the Treasure coast of Florida do I see them all the time. Cocoa getting a new station is a huge accomplishment as Brightline is extremely selective when choosing new Stations.
