Alfa Romeo has been selling cars in the US for about 8 years. Where have you been? I own a 2019 Stelvio and it has been awesome. It realizable and fun to drive.

I'd say get the Ti trim, the next one down and add the better seats there, save yourself a few more thousand. Seems like that would be the sweet spot.

I’m expecting mine in the next few days it will be my first alpha although a 2023 model I would have liked to have those exhausts at the back

Got one too! Absolutely loving it! Hard to stay off the D mode though! Ruins the milage at higher speeds 😊 (Manual sneakily recommends 1 hr/month to drive it in D "to keep the ICE in proper condition" 😀 )

@@gbormann71 have you figured out how to turn on the headlight/ taillight light sequence? I just figured out the inner cluster of the dashboard is customisable too

@@_enterdragon_ The light sequence was configured by the guy from the dealership while going through most of the practical and more 'experiental' (for lack of a better word) settings during the handover event. Can't tell 🤷‍♂️
If you press twice on that pager button at the righthand side of the steering wheel, you can even change the inside of the righthand dial!
In the MyAlfa app there is a link to an online Owner's Manual. That should have all the details (that's how I found out about the role of the pager button).
I'll have a look tomorrow 🙂

I am currently shopping for a compact SUV and cross shopping the Volvo XC40 and the Alfa Tonale. I have driven the Volvo. How do they compare in your opinion, and which one would you get?? Thanks

Go with the Alfa. Nothing drives quite like one and they look so different than everything else on the road.

Hope this drives better than the Stelvio. That car felt wobbly like a Jeep Cherokee. You’d think F/DC would want to stiffen the Stelvio up a little more to compare with the BMW X3, which should really be their competitor, not the X5 like they kept trying to compete with when the Stelvio was released.

What I'm leery about with the Tonale is dependability/reliability issues and whether it would be a money pit after the warranty expires? Same thing with its Dodge twin. How long is the warranty period with this machine? Whatcha think of all this? Peace...🙏♐

i love your concise style Mr. Hardy!! But this little ute is a terrible ripoff from the Dodge/Fiat parts bin. For less money, & better quality, check out the Jaguar E-Pace R-Dynamic P300. It has an actual off-road chassis from Land Rover (so it is a little heavier)
