Is there realy a "point" in anything in the game? It's not like you can "win". Everybody makes their own fun. Sometimes at the expense of other people's fun =D
yup. Public servers are full of toxic shit heads that can only have fun by ruining yours. The way to avoid this stupid shit is by building a landing gear, lock it to the ground outside of the barrier, and have pistons built from the landing gear extend your ship into the zone.
You gotta spread them evenly across the pitch and roll axis if possible. Maybe a few extra for yaw. Placing them bunched in one spot is very in efficient
Safe Zones in games are such a perfect example of the mentality that Safe Spaces create. Without fail they only create the opportunity for the dishonest and manipulators to mess with people without consequence.
Sadly, some people feel that ALL facets of life, even games we play to relax and have fun, should be PvP. Such people tend to spend a lot of time alone because nobody wants to deal with their crap anymore.
@@Comicsluvr The default state of things will always be anarchy. It is only from anarchy that organization can arise. Safe zones are an inelegant and, quite frankly, lazy solution to a problem that didn't exist. If you want safety, you buy it with bullets. This is griefing, not pvp
You see, he died as a result. Which makes it PvP
Oh wow. Soy infused are you?
if only landing gears stuck in those zones lmao
All this made me think of is "what if two ships shaped like swords did battle, with only colission damage?"
I have done this before. (It's rather anticlimatic)
That's not PvP that's pointless destruction for the sake of pointless destruction.
No wonder the public servers are always so dead.

There is plwnty of a point when ypu are on decent servers. This is just trolling@WretchedEgg528

or a piston that closes around a part of the base while inside so it can be pushed out.
@@anonymous-mj8wb That's called a "bike" lock and it's banned on many servers (including Keen's) so I don't recommend that
That works until they find that one landing gear sticking out and break it
@@cirogarcia8958 Really?? Whym
@@bloodstormwolf9512 I have no idea. They probably don't want people staying in safe zones permanently, which is why landing gears don't work either
Man, how do you get that thing to turn so fast, dude? Half of it must be dedicated to Gyros and thrusters
a ship that size really only needs like, 6 thrusters to spin on a dime my dude.
Probably light armor too

I've had some of my best fights at trade stations
would be better to build a shovel on the front of the ship. easy scoop....

At least two players drag an early game ship out of a safe zone to senselessly destroy it.
Someone spent hours just to have then that for what reason? Not like they gained resources
Safe Zones (or safe spaces :P) are so stupid
