    Good job. And please put back speed limits in urban zones. 60km/hr is ok. Otherwise we may lose life through accidents in city.

      I nearly drove straight into a roundabout at night in Harare ..night driving is risky and suicidal in Harare without night lighting and elimunating high vis signs. Since that near miss i started noticing that there aren't any signs 100metres or so before round abouts to warn motorists of a round about ahead..at least of they put a sign yakanzi reduce speed now round about ahead 200metres before every round about ..that would save lives

      I saw that and was like 😳😳😳. Those stretches are worksites and should be barricaded off, even if with flimsy police tape but heavy plant equipment should not be operational so near to the public

    City Council officials, government civil engineers and authorities, should be given a compulsory 3 weeks paid holiday in different countries, just to walk and drive around and see how other countries, that are much better and years ahead of Zim.

    Concerned with the lack of new curbings and paved sidewalks and t junctions of the old roads to the newly surfaced roads if they could at least resurface 5m of the other road so that the T junction dont look awkward

    The road from Samora Machel west passing through Warren Park 1, going to Kambuzuma has disappeared. Urgently need reconstruction.

    I admit I am always critical on most things happening in Zimbabwe but this is a very good start ,might be decades later but half a loaf is better than nothing ,let this not just be focused on the up class areas for real development to be seen we need to see this in all ghettos ,it’s not hard we used to see roads being repaired when we were going to school kudhara ikoko .

    One critical issue which these politicians do is to do things without actually having the right assessments when you do most of these resurfacing and dualisations many areas needed water and sewer pipe infrastructure upgrades /bigger pipes installed before new road works but now they are just happy to put the roads come a couple of months from now they will be digging again some sections revisiting theses issues

    Old habits die hard…my Zimbos 🇿🇼 jaywalking right across the four/ six lane streets without any regard for approaching traffic of heavy machinery that’s mending the dilapidated streets …simply don’t get it…😮!?

    Happy to welcome progress in Zim after more than 30yrs of neglect, our country is very rich but greed and corruption by ZANU PF has taken us to this point where we celebrate ordinary things like this , it's a shame nevertheless we appreciate positivity, our votes ddnt just go with the wind even thou they were stolen, would still vote them out

    When I was still living in Zim, almost 15 years ago, a friend was going on about how jaywalking is a problem in Zim and I didn’t get what the fuss was about. Now I do. We don’t prioritize safety at all in Zim.

      Sidewalks are said to be responsibility of City of Harare Council...current road works are central government projects.

    No safety been observed on construction site , people just moving throgh the work area and if an accident occurs the company will be heavily fined. There must be safety officers to enforce safety standards and the city council must barricade these roads from pedestrians. Zimbabweans we have just become too casual in our approach to everything.

      Tibvirei, kugadzira road because SADC is coming to Zim ?? If they were not coming they were never going to construct these roads. No wonder they arent constructing in other cities, even in Harare they just constructing roads that the sadc will use only
