You've been making videos over a 15 years, man that's almost my whole life as a 21 years old still a kid who love watch Pokémon anime and play Pokémon games. Pokémon Fan Games are almost always better than even Gamefreak's own Pokémon games today. I have over a 10 Fan Made Pokémon Games on my PC. Can I play any of those anymore like Uranium what I have too? I really hope Relic Castle don't delete Pokémon Fan Games. 😢💚

It's been a hot minute since I've watched your videos. But I would like to thank you for getting me more into Pokémon than passing. Because of your videos on Pokémon XY and ORAS, I asked my mom for a 3DS and those games for Christmas (I was 13) and haven't stopped loving Pokémon since. I enjoyed some emulator games before then, but the 3DS is where it really popped off for me. I'm glad to see you're content is still as good as ever. 😊

It should be noted that there are several spinoff games where you don't pick your starter. Colosseum: Umbreon and Espeon, Gale of Darkness: Eevee (you can choose its evolution, though), Ranger: Minun (Male protag) Plusle (Female protag), and Ranger 3 (Ukulele Pichu)

Loved Uranium, i remember the initial demo that went to Tikos gym, remember watching you play it too. Was so hyped when the full game dropped, one of my personal favs. Cant wait to hop back into Flux

I picked the same character and Pokémon as you, but the design reminded me of Gowther from Seven Deadly Sins, so I went with BHG for Blue Hair Gowther

I recommend Pokémon reborn and rejuvenation, If you want hard battles reborn is the way to go (not unfair)
If you want the best regional forms go for rejuvenation. both made by the same group of people, just different leaders. great video as always.

Pokemon Reborn (the AllGen version with Gen 9) is still the pinnacle of completed fangames (along with Xenoverse, Unbound and the usual suspects), but I am seriously looking forward to Pokemon Flux and Pokemon Vanguard as well. 2024 is gonna be a fantastic year for fangames.

game freak needs to hire them or buy their game at this point
As cool as Nintendo/GF pulling a Sega and buying fan games and making them into official projects sounds it would probably make the game no longer free, no longer released in Episodes and only the final version would be released, and would become a switch exclusive and leave PC, eliminating many things on PC that helps fangames like cheat engine. Hiring the art designers could be something they'd do since there is an American on the Pokemon design team but he also learned to speak Nihongo... Pixel art is what they specialize in and studios are leaving it behind since it costs too much to keep using compared to 3D models.
