Marine Drive is a 3 kilometre-long Promenade along the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road in Mumbai, India.
Bordering the Arabian Sea, this famous road is a popular spot for watching sunsets, and is gorgeous when lit up at night. It is the best sea view drive in Mumbai.
It is an awesome experience to walk or jog on Marine Drive and to just sit by the sea and enjoy the skyline while listening to the music of the waves! Totally recommend anyone visiting Mumbai, to make time for a drive, bicycle ride or walk/jog on Marine Drive!
Marine Drive is also known as the Queen's Necklace because, when viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace.
Real estate prices along the Esplanade are high. Many hotels dot the drive, most prominent among them being the 5-star Oberoi , The Intercontinental, Hotel Marine Plaza, Sea Green Hotel and a few other smaller hotels. Marine Drive is the preferred connecting road between the central business district located at Nariman Point and the rest of the city.
Many Sports Clubs are also situated along the stretch of Marine Drive, including members-only clubs like the Cricket Club of India, adjoining the Brabourne Stadium, and Garware Club House, adjacent to the famous Wankhede Stadium, as well as others like the Mumbai Police Gymkhana, P. J. Hindu Gymkhana and Islam Gymkhana.

My memories go back to my late 50es childhood as an Army man child and lived in south Bombay in the Colaba area, lived in woodhouse quarter, Afgan church, and RC Church Area, Ashwani Military Hospital, I use to go for a morning walk along with my dad from cuff prade to a half stretch of Marindrive, that time it was two-story yellow building all alined

It's just one side of the city that's kinda developed still many years behind many cities , a city in South Korea is still much developed then in mumbai .. anyway ❤️ keep going and developing
Nearly 25 million people live in just the city of Mumbai, which is almost half of South Korea's total population, how about keeping that in mind when you wanna play comparisons next time.
@@ritzray6741 well it's sad that India keeps on making many babies ... I guess 1 child policy or something similar would help the population growth so that it would lessen the countries burden in maintaining the people (well am just saying out of good intentions) also this would reduce the immigration rate in india I mean india is a diverse nation thus small states with ethnic population with smaller number would suffer more because of immigration issues too !!
