What changes from a back to a front? Same concept or is there a different technique to it?
The name of the truck changes depending on if the feature is in the front of you or behind you.
technique wise its exactly the same, just opposite direction of your snowboard nose and body facing up the hill - much harder in my opinion though

I’ve got the OG’s and Pro’s this year.
I ruptured my spleen 2 weeks ago board sliding a rainbow box. I was extremely comfortable during my learning progressions until I could do it with some confidence. Until I caught an edge on the rainbow and it sent me head first into the landing from the top of the rainbow. I don’t know what I caught, or why. But it ended my season.. I have no idea what I could have been doing wrong the fall and catch felt so unnatural it just doesn’t seem like it was my fault.. have you ever caught an edge board sliding that sent you flying foward on your chest and face rather than slipping out on your back… it doesn’t seem natural. I just feel like a screw ended my season this year and it’s not cool.
It would be really nice and possibly give me some closure ending my season on this note. I’m not a happy camper my friend
@@joelyoly5929 that’s why I don’t like boxes because they can be warped or have elevated screws that you can catch an edge on

I tried a boardslide the other day in Big Snow. In my mind I was ready and telling myself I can do it and how to do it. When I went to attempt it on a ride on a down box, my body did not want to commit lol and down I went off the box lol.
try a few more times and you'll get it!

@@freddxszn7845 backside when the feature is behind and frontside when the feature is in front of you. Where you face while sliding is irrelevant
