EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. THANKS.
Very helpful for me thank you! Since I don't do this for a living and just as a home owner, I'll probably just use the gear clamp method.
Fantastic video. This the best one on cutting pvc by far!
great video, the clamp method is really helpful, thanks mate
Very nice, you helped a bunch.
Thanks for this. So helpful.
Great tips thanks for posting this.

Awsome tip !!
thank for your advice well done..ex video friend
This is a great tip, thanks 👍👍 FJB
Hey thanks so much for this video. Got a potential project involving 6-8" PVC coming up and this is perfect info. Would love a video showing how you would bevel a large diameter pipe without the expensive tools!
You need a video on how to apply a tourniquet & get to the ER fast after the saw slips and slices through your finger 🤕.
Great skill and thanks for sharing
Thanks
thanks for making this
You are welcome.
Try keeping the hand with the recip saw stationary while rotating the pipe with your left hand .
Thanks for the tip.
My cuts always turned out gay before this video. Thank you sir!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
as fuck
Lol
Look who's taking. 😂😂😂
@@catfish24 not sure what you mean. But I bet you’re gay and ashamed of it
Easy way it to use a wide rubber band. Mark hot many inches from the end you need to cut in four places. Put the rubbed band around the pipe and pinch the extra so it’s tight, and move it to where your marks just show. Using a permanent marker mark all the way around the rubber band. Take the band off and make your cut.
The hose clamp method works EXCEPT you need to rotate the clamp at least once because the screw cage protrudes beyond the line of the clamp and will push your blade out of alignment. Also, for safety reasons it's better to be cutting with the pipe suspended over a bench or board and not your knee.
What blade do you use ?
what in cowboy city is this
I am surprised that he still have all of his fingers working like that!
Use a mitre box saw… it cuts clean and straight. Have a nice day!
What would you recommend to cut old, very brittle cpvc pipe? I have a leak in the wall that I need to cut out and replace, but I’ve heard that if you put much pressure on old cpvc that it will splinter and crack. Thank you!
Use a hack saw
2:45, one slip your fingers coming off. Safety first folks!
Wonder if lost finger yet. Looks dangerous
Thanks, can't do this at 90 degrees yet, this may help
No, but you could use a 90 degree elbow joint.
👍 👍
Tip: mark BOTH sides of the measuring tape - you get 2 marks for the price of 1 measurement and double the guide value.
I LINE UP THE DICULAR WITH THE ABGULAR AND CONNECT LINE VERMICULAR...IT SAVES TONS OF TIMULAR
Where we will get this cutting machine
@3:20 “Place your thumb next to the blade before it speeds up” ??? Not sure this will work for many DYI folks. I did like the pipe clamp idea but not pacing your thumb or the blade idea
Do you bevel edges with a tool before inserting into joint or coupler ?
Always clean the joint of the rough edges or it can build up debris over time.
Deburring tool
Use a miter saw...
Watch your fingers. I know a guy who cut his thumb off with a recip saw on a pipe.
what type of blade?
18TPI Metal Cutting Blade
What saw are you using ?
Milwaukee M18 Fuel Sawzall
No question on your experience, but it does cause signs of concern having the blade so close to your hand and leg without any safety measures.
😂
What is the name of that machine
I am thinking to buy it because it's very important and easy to work
Milwaukee M18 Sawzall they also make a smaller M12 (12v)
Pipe cutter machine name sir
It's a battery power reciprocating saw by Milwaukee about $250.00 dollars is the USA
Milwaukee M18 Sawzall they also make a 12v (M12) for smaller stuff
Misen name
i dont know about cutting pipes but am sure you will cut a few fingers off with these instructions
I thought the same thing... very risky operation!
@Richard Moore Maybe you need to make sure your fingers are far enough from the saw blade - as was clearly shown in the video?
Not really sure how you guys cut your pipes in crawlspaces and attics that you can't even spin your body. Sawzall easiest tool to cut all sizes in worst conditions.
Even the little m12 is pretty handy
The way you show this is so dangerous...
your employer would neither appreciate dropping and throwing tools as you do
Good thing its DeWalt not Milwaukee
We sail under our own flag, Thanks for your comment.
@@NedSchneebly-eh7kh It's a Milwaukee not a Dewalt.
@@catfish24 Umm never seen a yellow Milwaukee drill before.
Wrap around and black magic marker
