- As I was driving by to see if this long time overgrown property had been cut, I noticed a woman standing outside near her front porch. I decided to ask her what was going on. She told me that she was going through a divorse, and that mowing the lawn kept on getting pushed off. Her yard was a complete disaster! So I told her that I would help her out by cleaning up her front and backyard for free. She was truly blown away by my offer, and thanked me millions of times for my kindness. I'm glad I was able to lift a burden off her shoulders while she was going through such a tough time in her life. Be a blessing to the next person you come across. You never know who might be going through what. God bless you!

Hope you enjoy this property cleanup I did back in spring of '23. It might look familiar to some of you as I did a behind-the-scenes video on this property as well, and uploaded that video to my 2nd channel. Quick update, we are covered in snow! I can't wait untill this snow melts to get my hands dirty again. I know of some sidewalks that desperatly need attention. I also am thinking of traveling to some sunnier, warmer states to film some content while the snow here melts. What do you think of that idea? Let me know! Maybe California... as that is the closest "sunny" state to me. 🤔
Hey Fill, if you’re going to travel to California looking for opportunities to film some content, be aware the politicians here have pretty much waged war on us here that like having lawns in our yards. My house is the only one on my block and the two adjacent ones with grass in the front yard (and I have more in the back) and I am proud of it. Just lots of bark and concrete seems to be what they want us all to have. If you stick to Northern California (no further south than Sacramento) you may have some luck as it is more rural and less political influence. I’m in the Sacramento area. If you decide to venture this far, I could help with some intel if you need it.

I've never seen any of the people leave clippings in the yards. They will put them out by the curb to be picked up by the city.
That is such a cute house. Thank you for helping this woman. My husband walked out on me, his wife of 17 years, and his three sons. My head was spinning through all of it as I am sure hers is. You are truly a blessing to people who really need some help. I think you probably restored her faith in mankind.
Yeah it's a piece of cake when the guy divorces. I'm sure your ex immediately bought a deluxe penthouse apartment fully equipped with maids butlers chefs and built in manicurist soon as he walked out the front door, leaving your head aspin.

The trauma of divorce is something you have to experience to understand. It can leave you in a fog that is hard to see through. Thank you so very much for helping her this way. This is a small thing in comparison to her pain but you helped her feel that someone cared.

That looked to be a home intended to be welcoming as well as attractive for the neighborhood. A child is also involved. Thank you for restoring some order, for the owner and community. Also noting it is on a busy road, so a good pick-me-up for many passers by. Even just working on that sloped lawn, it took a lot of passes and work to get that to normal, and so followed the rest of the yard. Liked the Before and After photos. Form, use and space restored. There have to be areas not under snow that could use your help. Best wishes on making travel workable.

But, ya know, when something like this gets done, it can offer a level of comfort that you didn't know was missing. Even in the midst of the death of her marriage, the beauty of her yard being restored probably gave her a boost of hope. Been there, done that; good on you for helping her.

I can see where this lady was so depressed looking at her yard. Some neighbor should have stepped in but that is not how it goes in today's world. But being the person that you are you came and did a wonderful job for this home owner. I know she was so pleased. You are a good man and I know you will be blessed in return.
True but could also be reasons for this. Neighbors could be elder or disabled and not be physically able to help.

The slope of the front yard would make it difficult to mow. Thank you for helping all the people you do free work for.
In a perfect world I'd put in a retaining wall and level it off to make it easier to maintain. We had a hill in our backyard. Put in brick wall and planted ground cover. Made life so much easier.

Where in Texas? I am in Brownsville, and the high today is 51°, when normally it is 77! And it has rained off and on all day, so cold and wet. Miserable, indeed!

I just shuddered when I saw this yard. I am sure she is feeling much better having it cleaned up! I wish we had some of your snow, but in some ways I'm glad we don't!! It’s sad, when you are old, disabled, and life is out of control, in the case of someone going though a divorce, you have more on your plate then your lawn, especially if you have kids, finding your way to a sane world is not always easy. I am sure, this person felt relief, in checking this off her list.

God bless you in the name of Jesus for helping this lady out. I went through a divorce when I was about age 22 and it was very very hard and devastating. Now I've been married to a wonderful man for 42 years and unfortunately he is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's and dementia and his bedridden and I miss him at home. But he has not been able to work outside for a good few years. That's the job I've always loved but now I am older. It is the kindest thing you did for this woman in distress we all go through distresses in different ways in different seasons of our lives we need to cheer up others and encourage them. I pray that your video and other videos like yours inspire us all to be a blessing to others. Especially younger people who can help older people and people in distress. God has given us all different gifts that we can share with other people and help them through their hard times. Again God bless you! And I pray that Jesus would be your Savior too- all of you for Jesus is My Savior and Lord of my life and He is my best friend. I could never have gotten through any of this without Him. And Jesus loves you! 💞

Good job young man. You are right. My Mom was sent home for hospice with 2 to 3 weeks of life left, but passed within days. We were at the funeral home for service when we forgot Mom's favorite stuffed animal to put in her coffin. I ran back to the house to get it and saw a young girl maybe 14 cutting their grass. The next day I went to the neighbors house to see if that was their daughter. cutting the grass. They were out of town, saw all the cars, and figured Mom had passed. so they thought we like to come back to a nice cut yard.

Hey Fill! I personally would enjoy watching snow clean up! I really loved those two videos you did at night when you cleaned the side walk and drive. I even got my teenage son to watch those with me! That was amazing! I'm sure whatever videos you put out, we will watch them! Stay warm
