Neighbors were upset when we cleaned up the spontaneous garbage they dumped on the sidewalk

- Hello everyone !
Today we traveled 50km to the city by motorbike with the rudimentary tools available. The location is a neighborhood full of overgrown grass spreading to the sidewalk, underneath the grass is a lot of household waste that people have thrown away for a long time and many thorny bougainvillea branches. If you don't have protective shoes against sharp objects, you probably won't be able to clean up. I still see there are trash cans but I don't understand why they choose to throw trash on the sidewalk. While thinking about drinking water, the neighbor came to ask about it and said why did he clean up this landfill? This spontaneous landfill has been there for a long time and everyone throws trash here. If they move out, they will have to throw their trash somewhere further away than they are now. Oh my God! I really couldn't believe what they said to me. There were also some supporters so we continued cleaning until the end of the day. Both were very tired and mixed with sadness and joy, but anyway, the sidewalk was clean and beautiful again and my heart felt happier.
As usual, we cleared the grass, sorted the inorganic waste into the trash, then dumped the grass and organic waste into the wasteland until the grass dried and burned. I don't put grass in the trash because it will overload and make it difficult for the trash collectors. We travel by motorbike so we can only carry small loads of trash and don't have the budget to rent a truck to carry all the grass. going to the landfill, we can only contribute a small part to help the community. My wish is to soon save enough money to buy more tools and machines that can help work faster, to clean more places.

Надо мной вся деревня смеялись,когда я мусор собирала,даже у виска крутили. Нет, чтобы помочь, даже мешок не подержат. Но заметили ,ведь, чистую деревню . Я делала это бесплатно.

Hicieron un trabajo espectacular, es una verdadera pena que los vecinos no valoren ese grande esfuerzo de ustedes, mi esposo y yo llevamos 23 años limpiando una glorieta que nos corresponde a todos los vecinos limpiar, porque es nuestro entorno y comunidad, cuando mi esposo y yo limpiamos, pareciera que nos dijeran que es nuestro deber limpiar, jamás les hemos cobrado un peso, lo hacemos porque nos gusta ver limpio y bonito, cuando ya miran limpio toman la actitud de ofendidos, pero lo hacen porque saben que no ayudaron a limpiar, cuando nos miran limpiando ni siquiera hacen el intento de unirse a ayudar, creen que se lo merecen todo, aún así hemos continuado quitando la maleza y basura, en cuanto ven limpio tren a sus mascotas a defecar y no son para recoger la materia fecal, y otra vez vuelven a tirar basura, ya no nos queda de otra más que seguir limpiando, porque si dejamos así todo sucio, se mira bastante mal.

Aqui infelizmente acontece o mesmo. De vez enquanto a prefeitura notifica o proprietário do terreno. Quando não atendem ao pedido, a própria prefeitura o faz e cobra do proprietário. Fico sempre aborrecida em ver os terrenos com mato alto e a calçada intransitável.

The brickwork is beautiful. You'd think they would be grateful to have it uncovered. Somebody with a lot of skill put some serious time into that stretch of sidewalk. Great job.😊
it's not brick....it's concrete and dye with the design molded when it's poured

They’re 16”x16” cement paving slabs.
@@imperialpresence1173 We watched them do the exact same concrete design here in middle Georgia, USA on some newly laid city paths, however, you can clearly see the individual blocks once the sidewalk was cleaned.

I love what these 2 guys did all that to make the place look clean & beautiful again. Its a SIN the Neighbors let it get that bad & used it as the spontaneous garbage dumping plays like that.That they where dumped on the sidewalk. WOW to see that 1 Neighbor walk right up to then & put her garbage there like that shows that they don't care at all what it looks like. I wander if she knows they where filming. & she is now on video for all the world to see. What a great JOB you to did there. Great work. The sad thing is I bet the Neighbors will keep putting there garbage there on the grass & weeds that are still needing to be cleaned up. You 2 did a great job. Thank you for showing you really care.

В один из дней сажаю там цветы, а сосед в это время привозит на тачке мусор и сбрасывает рядом в ручей. Я была в шоке! Вот и вся разница между людьми.

The neighbors should have welcomed it with gratitude and appreciation. Those upset are most likely the ones who threw out their trash there in the first place. You both worked hard and did a wonderful job. And there should definitely be more people following your example .
