We're back at the APEX, this time with a spot inspired by the DTLA Library! Same format; 7 trick attempts, each skater's 3 highest scores count...

That Ollie north at the end should have been a bit higher based on creativity, the sheer risk of trying it in a contest, how unique it is, I don't know how long it would take any of those skaters to land that just during a session as good in a contest it's was just so surprising. Glad he got in the 9 ub though.

Fakie tre with minimal runup going that fast and clearing a gap that size is ridiculously difficult and takes so much precision. It's definitely a more difficult trick

SLS judging is always inconsistent....especially when they judge Ginwoo! He ALWAYS gets flat out robbed on his best trick/line runs I swear

Some good skating, I don't watch football or soccer, I watch Skateboarding.
When Chris turned around, I just call that a Late Revert and I think that's a trick because it's a clear clean bold move on the board and I can't do that yet switch but working on switch stuff more often
Nike has done so much for skateboarding in the last decade ..Im a huge fan . Growing up I hated brands like Nike .. They weren't part of the culture I don't think until Bam Margera put them on or they put him on what have you . I still love brands like Van's and traditional skate shoes . But one can't deny how much attention Nike has brought to the sport . I feel like Nike is a great deal todo with Skateboarding being in the Olympics now ...Even if they're weren't interested in skateboarding in it's Hay day , I feel they have more then made up for that by popularizing the sport and creating SLS league and making some what now I feel are some of the best skate shoes ...I am back and fourth between Etnies and Nike for my favorite skate shoe
gotta say i liked these judges more than some of the recent ones. couple results seemed a little low but i would rather see that than everybody having 9s every time they land

This went tf down and i fkn loved that Fakie Tre Flip Backside Lipslide tha switch Tre n Fakie Tre were on point but yah endless amounts of RAW DOPE TY SHREDDERS FOR THA YEARS OF FOOTY N PUTTIN IT ON FOR MI 1ST LOVE AKA SKATEBOARDING. I have been watching every SLS event ever since it started in 2010. This stressfull 1h commercial is such a weird format..like those stressful in between contests a few years ago with the random judging .... I don't know dude 😂.
i wonder how much more views SLS would get if half these videos weren’t filler nonsense….you guys can’t spend an hour editing the stream for youtube???
still love SLS and the videos i just know skateboarding could reach a bigger audience than it is, same with BMX and a lot of other extreme sports

can some one explain why chris joslin got 8.3 on his trick down the big set and Deiki got 6 something. Does't that seem like some problematic judging?
Deiki landed it and rolled away still in switch, Joslin reverted. So they scored him .3 higher than Joslin. Not problematic, actually the leased problematic scoring decision in sls history tbh.

Love SLS, but Apex is sorta of a miss. I think we would all rather see ledge runs stage. Apex is already sort of done during the best trick part of the regular SLS competition and the lack of crowd is just ok. something to think about.
Nyjah and yutos first tricks need to be scored way higher, tre 50 on a rail is easily a 9

Totally under scored Durao, flip to a late ollie north. 9.0 Never been done before? Why that score? At least give him the highest sls score so our main boys can get that type of trick behavior and clean up that trick. They need to know combining tricks in one trick is the new big score. Just how clean and big can you make it. style.
