Sam's questions might seem racist to many but he's trying to get to the bottom of issues. That's the only way we can learn how and why people behave the way they do. I enjoy his classes. Very enlightening

I really really love Dr. Sam’s lectures.
These lectures are absolute gold imo. His questions are genuine and intend to reach the bottom of a certain issue.
Too bad I will never have an opportunity to physically attend his lectures.

The number of kids on their phones is astonishing... I just couldn't do that out of respect for the professor and the money spent to take these classes.

At lectures, I often type notes on my phone. It's easier to carry than my laptop. I do creative writing exercises on my phone too for my writing class.

@fireflywild7422 You are jumping to conclusions and this made you miss the whole point of this lesson - most student's use their phone to take notes during classes. Foreign students also translate a new word or the translation of a concept when mentioned by Sam.

At some point at the start of a class he will say "no laptops or cell phones allowed". Perhaps it started after this class.

Anytime someone comes into a room, and I feel uncomfortable, I go and find out about them. I TALK to them. This is how you get rid of prejudice.

This is so interesting. For me, the best way to select someone to be acquainted to is to determine how woke the person is. The most woke they are, the greatest distance I’ll keep from them.

This guy is attempting to use the Socratic method and for the most part is pretty good at it. A bit clumsy at times. Seems to want to provocate a lot. To stir the senses. What I’m lacking is a story arch. Yes this is a short clip but within every story there is a grand theme but within there are smaller lessons to be had. He is almost there.

I'm from Australia. Would ANY of these students feel comfortable about either, themselves, or their friends visiting their respective partners' parents and putting their shoes up on the parent's dining table, or, furniture? How can ANY lecturer possibly be taken seriously after allowing this type of behaviour in a lecture?

I do notice, based on his actions, that the Nigerian student is more inclined to connect with white students and went out his way to mentioned his dislike of the behavior he associates with other blacks and I assume he means Black Americans. Perhaps his Nigerian parents tell him to stay away from those "terrible Black Americans, aka thugs, thieves and drug users." He needs a reminder of what "Black Americans" went through for him to be able be in that room.

Nigerians are try hards, they dislike black Americans in the US and West Indians in the UK, but they follow everything we do… our slangs, our carnivals etc but hate on us dispute the fact that it was our hard work which made their lives easier in both the US and the UK. I think it’s a jealousy thing esp. against Caribbean people because I think other people see us a the coolest black people…
