Rented a 2015 308 HB 1.6 THP (150 ps/240 mn) a couple of times.
Never adored french car but have to confess this 308 made me love it.
It is especially adorable with a 6-speed AISIN auto gearbox -- this 1.6THP and AISIN6 were made for each other ! Unforgettable!

Aber zum Auto, Leistung ist ausreichend denke ich. Zudem finde ich die Tachoposition echt gut. Danke für die Videos vom Peugeot!
On mine top speed was 198 till 60K km, than somehow opened (itself) to 203km/h till 90K km, after that, car pulls about 5% faster and quicker from 0-100km/h and ends up to 208 km/h. All in 6th gear. That is strange!!! Mine is 2016 March and has 108Kkm on, mostly 98% on highways across Europe all the time. NOT a SINGLE PROBLEM with car what so ever in 108.300km.

Why u expect from family car
The gearing is a shit on this car, i hate this, my mother buy this car and, when you compare this with a Mégane 1.9 130, the difference of power are notre excessive, but the difference when you press the trottle peddal, this is huge

How do u find the stability on high speed?
My dad sell cars and seel a lot of megane and 308 sw and im used to this cars i drove the 308 many times at speeds till 196kms(i never tried more) and they are very stable

almost makes no difference between 130kmh and 190kmh in both stability and noise. It's planted and just goes straight.
you change to 6 gear early, if you keep 5 gear the top speed will be probably 205-208
Please consider that we drove about 3 minutes at top speed, which means that changing to 6th gear a bit earlier would not increase the top speed itself in a long run at all.

Er meint, dass du zu früh in den 6. geschaltet hast und die max. Geschw. im 5. höher ist.

Oder in die Leistungskurve des Motors schauen und prüfen, ob bei 200 km/h der jeweiligen Drehzahl entsprechend der Motor im 5. oder im 6. Gang mehr leistet. Dann weißt du, ob Luigi Recht hat oder nicht...

пежо 408, 1.6 hdi, 6 передача 3000 об, 165 км/ч. для наших дорог и клиренса 180мм этого предостаточно

Si le moteur et son huile sont bien chauds avant ce traitement, un diesel peut tout à fait encaisser ce traitement. Surtout que même sur les portions d'autoroute allemandes à vitesse illimitée, la possibilité de pouvoir le faire n'est pas toujours là. Donc, en fait, rouler à ce régime moteur est plutôt rare dans la vie entière d'une voiture... Mais au moins tu décrasses ton FAP à ces régimes !
gearboxes are too long for acceleration 1.6 hdi never had low down torque like advertised that is more dci teritory but it is great for economy and silence
1,6BluHDI and 1,6eHDI are completely different engines. BlueHDI is low rev beast compared to 1,6eHDI, it's more sporty in low rev than passat 2.0TDI 140HP. I drive both, also MB C220CDI. That one is a different story.

Still peugeot is best French make of cars, I hate Renault, lot of problems related to security and AERODYNAMICS.
I also prefer peugeot and even citroen over renault.
