- How about a bonus ep?
Before I dive into HS1 - I thought I'd drop a video for one of the most commented songs. So here's my reaction to Harry Styles - Medicine (St. Paul) | Live
Want to thank the HS Love Live Channel for sending me the link for the video they shot: • Harry Styles - Medicin...
I'm sure most of you have but if you haven't please go them some love :)
Take a guess which part had me nearly jump out of my seat!. HOLY MOLY!
Please lmk in the comments of which should be the next bonus ep: Girl Crush (I'm looking at you Vicky A) or his cover of Lizzo's Juice.

Today's question - Next bonus ep:Girl Crush or Juice? The one with the most comments will be the next bonus ep!
Sound Vapors, such a hard choice, they are both great. Juice wins for me though as it is just so much fun x
Girl crush!!! czcams.com/video/rroc2y9if_Q/video.html
Girl Crush!!!
Juiceeee
Juice
Harry is the kind of performer that seems like he was born to be on stage-plus he’s beautiful and has an amazing voice. A star 🤷🏻♀️
Do the whole album, the tracks are arrange to tell sort of a story and makes so much sense to listen one after another 🙌🏻
SAY IT WITH ME
“And when I sleep I’m going to dream of how you... RIDE IT. “
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk
Thank you! First line is tasted. Second is ride it. It's called rhyming people. 🤣
I always thought the second one was take it because of the whole medicine thing as well
Narneey it sound good too with that line!
even take it sounds better than tasted.
Thank you for this.
Violeta Madrid I don’t know why in my head the first time I heard it I thought that was the lyric until I listened back. I wish we knew but I love this ambiguity around it
I discovered him like you did. Based off his solo work. I see some Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury in his stage presence. With a little david bowie in his vocals. The guy is definitely talented
That's brilliant Daniel. I get excited for people to get to know him like we've known his talent for years.
Welcome to the fanbase. It's bloody fantastic!
@@cleopatrakampiire7078 haha thanks. Talent deserves to be recognized. And he has it. His brand I guess you could call it. "Treat people with kindness" it's straight out of the 1970s kind of stuff. It's cool
Answers to some of the questions: he has never released a studio track of Medicine 😩. He purposely never sings the end word in the line, “and when I sleep I’m going to dream of how you ...” and it’s universally accepted that the fan base decided it’s “tasted”. So that’s what you hear them scream back at him. No one really knows what the lyric is. And YES, Scott Weiland 🤘🏻
The second line though is ride it... tasted doesn't rhyme. 🙃
TLB we know the lyrics bc we searched it up we didn’t come up with the lyrics search the lyrics up and they will pop up
@@kayla-ng8xh lol people were singing tasted and ride even before any lyrics appeared anywhere... no official lyrics have been released. The ones you see in Genius (for example) are basically what fans provide if there arent any official lyrics..
Keila Gonzalez there is no official lyrics
First tasted, second ride it
The way you describe harry the front man reminds me of something Harry's mum once said. According to her, he loved entertaining people since he was little. And whenever he's on stage, he does something that people just love him and get attached to him.
Love your enthusiasm for Harry! Please do Girl Crush next. His vocals on it are just fan-f*cking-tastic!
Please do harry styles carpool karaoke as a bonus ep
This is an unreleased song he wrote before the release of his first album and he has said he will probably never release a studio version
Yes yes yes!
I love harry but he's evil for no giving us this song lol , react to his song Anna which he also didn't release. Not very rocky but there are harmonies I think you might appreciate.
yessss medicine is harry at his best thot self. this particular performance is so loved not only because of the amazing camera quality but because when he first started singing it on tour he was a little more reserved/nervous (we assume because of the lyrics) but by the time he got to st paul he was absolutely in his element and knew the fans were right there singing along with him. seeing that progression of his confidence is really special. im going on a tangent here but he's said in interviews that this tour was really profound for him because of the feeling of love and acceptance in the room; both between him and his fans but also between the fans themselves. it really was a whole experience!! and no unfortunately there is no official recording... we've been begging him for one for years but alas i think that ship has sailed rip.
for the next bonus episode how about girl crush at the bbc or sign of the times at graham norton? and then for the albums i would absolutely sit through an entire album listen along. the longer the better!
Truee
"We assume because of the lyrics". In reality its probably because he'd never performed it before. Some Harry fans always assume a lot!
ems7 harry has never had trouble singing new songs lmao in fact he loves premiering them. the video footage of him mumbling the words to this particular one before progressing to belting them out is clear as day. but i prob won’t change your mind here so 🤷🏻♀️
@@S_213 All i know is some of his fans love projecting, so all i trust in this fandom comes from the man himself directly. You're stating your interpretation of his actions, not a fact. As am I. By the way it's totally normal to get 'wilder' performing a song the more times you do it due to familiarity. Harry is no different in this respect.
ems7 that’s fair. it’s something he will probably never address so of course everyone’s welcome to their interpretation
Harry is usually a bit of a shy and quiet person (but very kind and funny). However, he has said several times that when he's on stage in front of a huge crowd, it's when he feels happiest and that's why he's such a great entertainer. Not only does he preform but he LOVES doing it and has said it's his favorite part of the job! Btw your videos are so great, I'm so interested in everything you have to say
I was there! St Paul! It’s like a fever dream.
You are so luckkyy 😫😫 you guys won big time 🤯
moonygirl76 bro I would have died like passed out right there
Me too! It was amazing.
When he said he can melt to Harry’s harmonies...I felt that
5:14
am I the only one who died when he paused it at that exact moment?
He's also the best at entertaining the crowd, there's a lot of compilation of it from his long hair era (1D era) until his solo. He has a good humor. 😂
Another great reaction. Sorry to disappoint, but he might not perform Medicine live ever again, that's what we're all wondering because we don't know for sure. He said it's only for tour, because he never recorded the studio version. If you're going to his show, I'm just saying it so you can know. Please react to Girl Crush next.
Fast-forward to april 2022 and him performing Medicine @Coachella for 100 000 people
Girl Crush would be amazing. You'll see how versatile he is. He could do both. He could do rock or just stand up with a guitar. 👌
As per the albums, I wouldn't mind watching an hour-long album track-by-track honestly. I've listened to both albums countless times already but it's nice listening through it again from somebody else's point-of-view.
I love your reactions so much. Keep it coming. 😊
I'm interested to see where this rabbit hole leads you! Like many of us new Harry fans, it has led us to the world of One Direction (who would have thought?). I am bummed I dismissed them when they were still together! Like many, I thought they were a typical boyband doing pop music with kids being their target audience. Boy, were we wrong!! The first two albums are a bit like that (but still catchy as heck), but then they started writing their own music and the last 3 albums are much more mature and have an edgy rock/pop rock sound. Their stage presence is incredible and the music is just so good! You hear a lot of 80s and early 90s influence and that big arena rock vibe. I dare you to check it out!
I'm soo with you on that! Found out about Harry like a month ago and now I'm on this 1D universe exporing mission :) So good to know I'm not the only one who wrongly wrote them off because of the image the label was giving to them at the beginning. Wasn't my thing at all. Still, I'm on Up All Night phase now but I heard most of the later singles already so I know what I'm going into:) But seriously, aren't Same Mistakes and I Want quite timeless? Sorry for random comment from a random person 4 months later, just so thrilled to see I'm not alone on this planet who didn't know anything about 1D when they were around :)
@@OceanChild7 you are not alone! I have seen so many people on this 1D train recently. Even the boys/men who never listened to them or only secretly liked them if so (because it wasn't cool for a guy to like a teen boy band🙄) have been sucked in by Harry (because who wouldn't be?), leading them to the other boys' solo music and ultimately, 1D. All you have to do is search CZcams for One Direction reactions and you can see how huge this fandom is and how much it has grown (and broadened)! And I love "I want." Like many of their songs, it has a bit of the early 2000s pop punk sound (and was written by Tom Fletcher from McFly).
@@OceanChild7 ...and, if you haven't already, go and check out Niall's two albums and live performances. Like Harry, he also does some amazing covers, mostly of the classics like The Eagles and Tom Petty. Also like Harry, his live performances are better than the studio versions.
Thank you for the reactions. I’m a new Harry Styles fan too. Discovered him during the first month of quarantine. I have to say, this is a time in history where things are heavy and weigh heavily on us as people. My love of Harry Styles is that he just makes me and many others feel happy. He just has that thing that lightens a persons burdens and allows them moments of joy when it’s very difficult to feel joyful. That charisma you were talking about but as you get to know what he shares with his fans regarding his personality and philosophy of “Treating People With Kindness” and treating all people equally, just allows you to feel good about being a fan of him and his music.
My request, please do the albums one song at a time, adding up to the full album.
Seeing you react is like sharing my journey of Harry Styles with a more knowledgeable friend.
Yess ,I totally get you . He's a wholesome person and his smile can make you smile . He's so shy and innocent off the stage and that's what is crazy to me when you hear his songs ,you feel his emotions and whatever he wanted that song to feel like so well . It takes guts to write something like that , use metaphors and layers while also being so open and vulnerable
Welcome to the Harry Styles family.
Just do full album man. First album is your kind of music so you'll love it man. (2017 Harry Styles album is what I meant)
That’s so hard! Girl Crush and Juice are so good but I think Girl Crush first!
harrys so hpynotizing, everytime i try to focus on the music in live perfomances i just zone out looking at him
definitely girl crush! one of his best covers.
Please can you do harry styles car pool karaoke? The first one tho :)
Man this is one of my favorites of his - the sounds, the lights... ugh. I love it all. I can still remember the first time I heard it when he debuted it last tour - it grabbed my attention and has never let go.
Like the others said, no studio version so we continue to listen to this StP version since it's the best recording. I didn't it see that particular show, but did see it at both MSG shows and Hershey - SO GOOD. We all want him to perform it on the upcoming tour, but who knows if he will. :-(
And for next up, maybe Girl Crush? They're both so different - emotion vs. cheeky and fun. Hard to choose!
Regarding the album reviews - HS1 I'd say could be done piecemeal, but for HS2/Fine Line, I'd say do it as a whole since it's a story from start to finish.
Lastly - thank you for doing these - I love "experiencing" it all again for the "first time" through someone else's eyes. Plus, it's fun to learn more of the musicality side as we go along. I try to listen for the background vocals and effects he adds in with his voice, etc., but I don't know much about the technical side of things so thank you for pointing them out!
The St Paul’s medicine performance actually gives me life!
I love the Pink Floyd comparison!
Maria Fabrikarakis I’d never recognized til Tommy said it but that’s so true!
That's the first thing my hubby said when I played him this video two years ago. But he's a huge Pink Floyd fan so he caught that instantly :)
i just love to see people falling in love with harry
Everybody wants a studio version but I don't think Harry will ever release it.
I'm hoping for him including it on a greatest hits collection...
He had a headstart because of the world-conquering boy band he was in, but he was rocking it even then, part of the reason why the band's been so popular, it's wasn't your usual cheesy dancing boyband. Actually I think he was even more rock-n-roll back then, now he's more refined :) The reason behind all of this - he just does what he loves and doesn't look back. Thanks god, the guy loves making good music. Probably that's why he's like a breath of fresh air to everyone, professional or not, whose music taste goes way back, 30-40 years or even more. His popularity may enable good musicians not to be afraid of doing what they always wanted but never let it go farther than studio jam just because you have this thought "nobody needs that anymore". Well, we do. Just saying :)
You can react to Harry's jingle bell ball performance ( extended set)..
It's almost like enjoying one of his live concerts ..
Yes, this.... 👆
I don't think that's a great one. It's clear the crowd isn't there for him. Some are, but many people are like..i have no idea what's happening when is stormz coming on?? And it's also clear he really feeds off the crowd. In that performance there is a disconnect. It didn't give me the feels a his others.
@@jacquirosa4587 sorry, not entirely agree with you, I think it was a great performance, one of his best for me personally. If you cannot handle the tough crown, if you're only good to sing in front of the fans, I don't think it's a good colour of the artist tbh and it's totally not about Harry. In my opinion he smashed it. I compared that to different performances those 2 days, the crowd wasn't there for most of them, so it would seemed :) Yes, the beginning was a bit awkward but by Adore You he was rocking it as usual and I saw a lot cheering from the crowd.
My Vote is for Girl Crush ---Another Great reaction with lots of insight... you take it to a whole new level - Thanks Tommy 😎
Oh how I wish there was a version out there that I could jam in the car. I wasn’t at this show, but I saw this in Nashville and man it was great. I wish our seats had been in front of the stage to get the full effect, but it was still great from the seats they had behind the stage.
I vote Girl Crush next. That one gives me chills. I heard it at The Ryman show before they released the BBC version, and I’m pretty sure my jaw was on the floor.
How about Girl crush at the bbc or sign of the times at graham Norton show for your next reaction? Or you could do Harry's jingle bell ball performance (extended set).
I second all of these suggestions! These are my favorites to watch over and over again.
You should react to kiwi 3 times
I was at this concert and it was beyond amazing. Having seen Harry perform as a solo act and with One Direction I can honestly say that he was born to be on stage! Not only is Harry a great singer, he is an entertainer. The way he interacts with the crowd makes each concert an fun, original experience. The person who made this video recorded the entire St. Paul concert and the quality of the videos are really good. Since Harry just had to postpone his tour until next year, watching her St. Paul videos might be the closest thing you get to being at his concert for awhile. Of course you won't experience the arena floor shaking from all the excited fans, but you will get to hear some great music and experience Harry's funny personality. I'd love to see you react to some of his performances with Stevie Nicks.
Yes.....and when the first time that Harry and Stevie performed together...Harry cried at the end....and I want to cry too.
Harry definitely has that something the rest of us normal people in the universe don’t. You won’t regret seeing him live! It’s a whole new experience! I’m telling you as a woman who is 33 and has been going to rock concerts since I was 10. I started to follow Harry right before 1D ended and although it wasn’t my kind of music at that moment, I saw him and I couldn’t resist to know more about him bc even at that time he was rockstar material and I was eager to listen to his solo music and he surpassed my expectations! Ps: If you wanna see Harry at his best with the best crowd come to Argentina!! 😛
Hi i strongly recommend watching his sign of the times performance at the graham norton show !
Harry’s joy on stage is infectious and you feel like a part of the whole experience. Harry is incredible on his records and even better live. Medicine (and Anna) are tracks only performed during his tour which makes them even more beloved amongst the fans. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts about the song when you’ve had time to listen to it a few more times as it’s a lot to take in on a single listen. Maybe in your twitter update for the Harry journey? Thanks for the bonus episode and I’ll be back for the next one! Full albums tell a story so my wish list is for them to be kept together as a whole. “Harry Styles” is 10 songs and a mood. “Fine Line” is a progression and a timeline in a relationship. I love both.
this is a great show overall. St paul is really up there for harry's tour man. During this night, the songs like the chain and kiwi was like another level in St paul as well.
No, there is no studio version; sadly. This was part of his set list & played at every show last tour. Trust me, as good as it is watching, it’s 1000x’s better seeing it live! I love his music so much, but have never, ever enjoyed someone live the way I’ve enjoyed him ... and I’ve seen a lot of shows (I’m 50!). Great reaction! I love when new people discover Harry!
Somebody stop me from clicking LIKE before I even watch the reaction. 😍😜😍😜
Thx for this! You should do the albums in parts. They are unfortunatly not too long, so maybe 2 parts each?
For BONUS live performances: "Falling" at Brits, "Sign if the times" at Graham Norton, and SNL performances "Lights up" "Adore you" , BBC "Girlcrush" , BBC "Juice" and than the music videos :-D .
yes medicine is such a banger, glad you reacted to this. sadly he never released a studio version of it but i hope he'll continue to perform it on tour so you get to experience it live too!
That's real rock n roll.... true! Thank u thank u! I appreciated medicine all the more👏👏👏
This video has made my day, thank you for another great reaction! Can’t wait for the next one!
Girl crush next please! I´d prefer you to react to full album or split it into halves, one song reactions are too short. 😊
I got to watch this live last year and GOD the drums is something you feel in your bones, Sarah is a BEAST on the drums. His band is the perfect compliment to Harry's vocal talent and stage presence.
Amazing reaction. Your videos make my day. Do girl crush next please ❤️
There are few of Harry's performances which are must-see:
1. Juice cover
2. Sign of the Times at Graham Norton show
3. Girl crush cover at BBC
4. Big Yellow Taxi cover
5. Sweet Creature live in London at One Show (at Harry Styles Spain channel)
6. Harry's carpool karaoke
Thanks 💚
Another great reaction vid! Thank you. You will love love love SHE on Fine Line. It has total Pink Floyd vibes.
This is one of the best performance he ever had in his live tours that i ever watched! Thank u for ur exciting comments and reactions! Just loved it! 💖💖💖
And to think I saw him do this in a kilt ehehehe
Thanks for another great reaction Tommy !!! Your musical knowledge and terrific personality adds so much for us fans.
I vote "Girl Crush" at the BBC next.
By the way, I think that incredible rasp in your voice that we were treated to during your "Sledgehammer Sing-a-long " would really lend itself to this song !!! How about a "Medicine" cover my friend? You would be so great !
Thanks again for your insightful reactions!! You are my favorite CZcamsr now !!!👏 ❤ 👍
This is one of the best reactions to Harry's stuff ive ever watched, if not the best! 💖💖💖
that litte walk he did reminds me so much about mick jagger
Has anyone mentioned the song Anna? It's another one that's not been studio recorded. But he wrote it and performs it in many concerts
Omg thank you!! Love thisssss
love your reaction videos...so authentic,informative & amazing
Thank you for the reaction very much💕
Always excited to see your reactions to Harry!
Loving bonus Ep. Also its a really good idea to react to the whole album just at once. We have seen and enjoy 1hour-videos, so dont be afraid of how long it would take!
Thanks Tommy for reacting to these songs. Adding my vote for Girl crush at the BBC next.
I can't wait for the next video. I hope it will be soon 😊
(Maybe: Full album in a long video or Girl Crush)
Harry Styles leyenda viviente
IM SO HAPPY YESSSS
Saw it in Indy and it was AWESOME!!!! so sad it’s not ever gonna be recorded in studio
Thank u so much for your reaction!
I wasn't at this show, but I watched him in London (both shows) and the whole experience was electric!
I swear you literally buzz throughout the show. And your favourite songs (Kiwi, Only angel, Medicine), so far, were the most crazy thing I've ever witnessed & experienced. Gosh ..
Sign Of The Times was also great live. It was fantastic!
Please react to Juice at the BBC Radio 1 live lounge next please.
Glad you liked it!
I'm really excited or even anxious about how you'll react to his album Fine Line, because it's less Rock'n'Roll. It's different, but yet, the best album this year for me
Am in love with this song
We all want Medicine for Love on Tour or a studio version but I think we are out of luck
I just discovered this channel and I'm loving it! It's harry styles!!!!
yay thank you!!!
stevie nicks told him to put this on the album and she was RIGHT
Yes this was my concert. I saw it live. Medicine was not on the album, he only performed it on tour every concert. The fans always sing (scream) the part where he says, "And when I sleep I'm gonna dream of how you...." We reply "Tasted". How about "Girl Crush" next.
Ooh! I was at that show. He did a phenomenal job. (Could have done without the teenage girls in front of me who were sobbing uncontrollably, but hey, to each their own!). It’s hard to grasp that his voice actually does sound that full, rich, and just good live.
I enjoyed you enjoying this so much I'm going to subscribe & check out your other vids.
Wow thank u for reacting to this harry video!
Please do his cover of Ultralight Beam Live at the Garage
Thanks for reading our comments! I love your reactions. This song is so good but there's no studio version
I like that! Harry is a naturally born Star! I heard it first from u. I will use that and credit goes to u😂
for the full album reaction you could maybe do a few songs at a time instead of track by track or the whole album? like maybe do a 4 part series for fine line with 3 songs per video? just a suggestion of course
I was there! It was fricking awesome! No other words.
GIRL CRUUUUSH!!
He is an amazing performer, he is a Rockstar, he has everything, he is just powerful, he is MR HARRY FUCKIN STYLES
plz do the whole album review! i think we can all agree that we’d love to watch an hour+ long video :) lol
We love your reactions - for the full album maybe do a few full songs and then add your comments?
Este es mi rey mi ídolo mi ángel
I recommend you listen to the whole album in one go, the album itself is a journey and must be listened in order together
Oh my, I WAS THERE!! 🥰😩😋
I was also at the LA show 3xKIWI insanity 😵
born to perfom.
it's funny how you keep sayin , "you know??!!" because we TOTALLY know ...that's why we're here watching you enjoy it ssooo much with us
I love your Harry Styles reactions! Can’t wait to see your thoughts on his whole Fine Line album really wish you could review his live performance on Capital Fm with his extended performances at the Jingle Bell Ball concert you will love his performances on each song
Medicine and Anna are both unreleased songs and Harry would probably sing again some songs that are not in his second album when he goes on tour.
Harry’s concert is like no other, it’s crazy and fun and just amazing. He likes interacting with fans, he enjoys a bit of a friendly banter, he’s a funny guy. He hosted SNL, you should check it out on your free time. Also react to Anna, his other unreleased song🙂✌️
Harry Styles ultralight beam cover is amazing
React to SHE by Harry styles
YEESSS!! You have to see him live he’s a beast on stage!! But i don’t think Medicine is gonna be on the setlist of his second era 💔 Maybe Sledgehammer, juice, and big yellow taxi since he covered them during the promo of his second album.
I was there! So SO epic.
I'd love for you to do a track by track so you can really concentrate on each song. In the end Harry only has 22 songs (10 in the debut, 12 in Fine Line), so it's not like it would be an excessive number of them
Harry played it the entire last tour I believe and I really hope it is on the set list next tour!
Next bonus ep: Girl Crush
