I wonder what level the South African top division is compared to the English football league ? Seeing as these two teams looked evenly matched I'm guessing it is nowhere near the Premier level, maybe between the Championship and league 1 in the UK

You didn't really answer my question... Which was : In the UK they have 4 levels, Premier, Championship, League 1 and league 2... or, to make it easier, leagues 1, 2, 3 and 4... Not knowing too much about football in SA, where in that table would the top SA league be, level 1 2 3 or 4 ?
But, with regards to the players fielded in this friendly/practice match, if they weren't regulars who were they ? The UK teamed seemed to to give game time to most of their squad, most of those were 1st team players...

@@mrbillhicksAs a South African who grew up watching our PSL, I would say it is on the level of the Championship... South African top two clubs (Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates) can be top 10 or top8 clubs in the Championship.
Orlando Pirates will play against Sevilla soon and SA top teams are better than some French and Spanish premier league teams.
