Definitely going to try this one! My 10 year old daughter has your chickpea curry down to an art- she makes it for her meat eating grandad and he loves it so much he now eats much less meat (every little helps!) I’ll have to introduce her to this one!

Thank you so much for this! My husband has macular degeneration and his eye pressure has always been terrible, no matter how many drugs/surgeries. He went vegan over a year ago and for the first time ever, his eye pressure has dropped.
It's probably too late..but can you tell me what he eats??

I always wondered whether that was suitable for vegans bc I've not seen the label on the packet confirming it as suitable for vegetarians / vegans🤔

Fyi they aren't vegan here in Japan. There are several versions of golden curry and they do have vegan one with green package, but common ones get gelatin, and do sometimes contain beef stock.
European and American versions of golden curry are vegan. I'm gagging.

All the bloopers are hilarious. Definitely going to try this. I had a Japanese friend that made me curry with that same curry block but it was white.
Not exactly sure but I guess the white one you had before was Japanese cream stew, which exactly looks like Japanese curry but it’s creamy and milky in a white colour. We usually make it in winter here in Japan :)

I made this tonight and it was delicious! The amount of breadcrumbs was just right, but most of the batter didn’t get used so you could easily half the amount .

I made this three weeks ago and it was AMAZING! And I'm going to be making it again this week because it's so damn good. I followed everything you did, I even bought those curry blocks, but instead of making the pickled radish I just made seaweed salad. This time I'm going to try making it without the banana and use a little bit of sugar instead. Such a great recipe, thank you!

I usually suck making coatings but this style even worked for me. Super crispy! The rest also worked out super good. The relish fits in super nice. For me this ist best recipe so far. Keep up the fantastic work!

Love!! Just finished making it and inhaled it. Followed recipe but only had firm tofu, and used GF panko breadcrumbs and rice flour for the batter, no biggie. So glad there's enough for another 1-2 servings. Definitely bookmarking this.

This is one of my fav curry recipes and one I've always make coz it's so versatile super easy and quick to make. These are great as a quick lunch/dinner and a great treat for my kids lunch/dinner meal. The Best Recipe! 😘👌

Love love curry it’s always been my favorite meal growing up and still is! I’m half Japanese and the golden curry is soooo good w even just water! I have to try your version to taste the extra flavors🥰

Love the video as always, will be trying something similiar to this. You could do so much more with the tofu though, using the double freeze method and marinating it. Will really elevate any tofu dish.
