The daily bitcoin journey is a live show, every morning at 8am CST, focused on actionable and logical discussion for bitcoiners and future bitcoiners.
Today's episode focused on two main topics - time and scarcity. We discussed the scarcity aspect of bitcoin and watched a short presentation from the Canadian Bitcoin Conference!
This presentation discussed bitcoin's relationship with both time and energy and how important it is to have a fixed set of rules that everyone (voluntarily) agrees to. The main topics included:
- why time is going so fast on a fiat standard
- bitcoin's ability to capture stranded energy and level up our planet
- bitcoin has one set of rules vs 167 local currencies
- the importance of having a fixed peg like bitcoin instead of the illusionary fiat dollar which has an unknown and unlimited supply
We also talked about some BITCOIN NEWS and other discussions including:
- New York Mets owner is buying bitcoin
- the difference between a million and a trillion
- how the ETFs are accelerating bitcoin adoption
- how many sats are mined per person per day - UNBELIEVABLE FIGURE
