Everyone here getting so mad over Max oder LH, when in reality pretty much both are insane good drivers with max being able to lap on a slightly higher pace and LH being able to save tires extraordinary good thus making a extrem minimal overall racetime. 2 completely different race strategies with 2 complete dirfferent cars and often also strategies. Not to mention that even the same Strategie is played out differently due to different characteristics of the cars. If you are really a F1 fan you should aknowledge all of it and let them race. While both drivers get better each race, Lewis did not „catch up to max“ in the last races and max did not „exceed Lewis“ in the first ones - Its the car, track and Strategy. There is hardly no way to determine who is better when it’s this close and such different cars, and it also doesn’t matter. Winner is determined by aforementioned factors...

I see some people gawking at this messed up quali lap like they saw God and all the saints together. For a bit of perspective, back in the 80's, when some of them were just a project, there was a dude (multiple world champion) who qualified 1.5 seconds faster than his teammate (another multiple world champion) on the bumpy streets of Monaco, and in those days gearboxes were still manual. To complete the perspective, at Bahrain quali 2023 the whole grid was within 2.4 seconds.
I think max just pushed a little bit too much. Lewis did just about enough to get him the pole. Lewis plays the long game but that does not mean it always works out.

there will come a time when this primadonna would hate on Max once he racks up wins after wins... the way he distastes vettel and hamilton for being dominant. he'll still be the lesser driver in the books, complainer who keeps on pronouncing hes the best ever but with mediocre cars. mind you alonso, those mass dampers that propelled you to be champ in 2005 and 2006 were unstoppable. eventually got banned
@@persezyra oops and the launch control from the start line haha. i dont have any problems with teams maximizing their smarts and ingenuity, but alonso should put a sock on his mouth and stop demeaning other drivers for having the "better" equipment because he enjoyed the same advantage in 2005 and 2006. he used to criticize vettel for having an "adrian newey" car and was all praises for lewis. fast-forward and lewis was dominant for the past 6 years or so now he claims it's easy for lewis given the car. primadonna as always, could've won more championships but he's all to blame for making bad decisions in his career. once Max becomes dominant with a superior car behind him Alonso would take a dig at him too, trust me. the envy has gotten over him but nothing he can do, he's a mere topnotch midfielder right now and it's going to be the same in the coming years

Kimi beat DRS boy HAM and Spaniard Alonso to be champion. HAM got gifted WDC against MASSA 😂 and rest Merc 2Sec advantage with no other team to really challenge. Nah he's the best, the Renault was never the fastest car. The damper was smart props to the team, every team should had developed one back then.
