    If you are suspicious that someone cut your water line to the one stock tank, maybe try putting out a hidden trail camera. Many of my friends have them, for some of the same reasons. Even a couple of them pointed toward the road might give you an idea as to who is slowing down in front of the house. Just a thought.

    LOVE your videos!! You guys have such a great sense of humor - and love the father/son dynamic. SO much care between the two of you.
    I also love that your getting a university education - and are not "too good" to farm. Farming in the future need people exactly like you (and your dad!!). I LOVE your Dad!!! And...you are exactly the kind of young man we hope our daughters meet and marry!

    Cole, that is a scary thing to wake up to with people creeping around your home. Invest in a few cameras that feed to a tablet or cellphone. We had to after people were stealing all around our neighborhood. You could get a few wifi cameras to watch your cows too- so no one gets brave to steal one... This current virus has people doing stupid stuff for sure. Be careful and stay safe.

    Sorry about the thieving scoundrels. You need a Rottweiler! I had them for thirty five years. Even the neighbors thanked me a few times. If you get one, they can herd. A couple of my puppies got their herding certs.

    Wow, that floor was easier than I anticipated. And I feel dad when he said he's not happy with the way it looks. It's a thing I can relate with. And I enjoy the more active role he has in the videos now a days. I sure do like the little things that you show. Like, "I had some chill" and the fence, and the menur......😏😉 spreader is always fun.     There's a lot of low-life people out there... even closer than you think. It's to that point even having machines parked in or near the farmyard doesn't mean that someone won't sabotage it.

      Take a look at the video at 6:58. Do you see that small barrel and the mailbox laying on the ground to the right? Yesterday when we went over there the oversize rocks that were in the barrel were dumped out and the barrel, wood post for the mailbox and the mailbox were all missing.

    We even had to blow some off with a hair dryer to keep them dry and alive. People don’t realize how hard farmers have to work and the lengths one has to go through for cheap market prices. Keep up the good work, buddy!

    A friend in southern Nebraska (a ranch/farm operation very similar to yours ) lost a mobile welding unit and expensive tools to thieves who stole from their shop during broad daylight and the shop is right behind their home. The best deterrent is a simple sign by the road "BEWARE OF DOGS"

    Wow, hope the calves all make it. My aunt,'s old barn has been unused for thirty years and you can still smell manure. If you like the smell, it helps.

    Some one stole a gate from our field beside the road. So the say is so true the would steal the sugar fay your tea and come back for the water! Its sad that people stole the end of your water trough and even cut the pipe. Get a job and leave us farmers alone. Great video and you have some great calves being born.

    One of our dogs came into the porch not feeling great, next he up-chucked an entire afterbirth, seems he started to swallow and didn't realize it was all attached and gorged the whole thing, the boss lady wasn't too pleased hahaha

    Good job man but -3 that would be awesome I live in central canada where many night in calving season in Feb March can be -30 plus windshield thankful this year was an exception milder than normal but still avg -13 for highs but nice to see your vids showing the world how hard farmers work thanks keep up the good work

    Why not chop up a millet bail for the new calves you put in the pasture? They do that for outdoor cattle in -40 below Canada.

    Three days ago i ran an ad on Craigslist selling a heifer. Had some guy who was shady as hell up to the farm to “look” at her. Last night our Rottweiler’s alerted us, seen his truck creeping down our driveway, headlights off... I dont care to share the rest of the incident, just please be careful and aware folks.

      Tattooed Lineman I’ve given up selling online for that reason. I put a wireless solar driveway alert in and it’s been fantastic. I’m going to purchase a few more for around the property since it has a 1/2 mile from alert system and you can program four different sounds so you know which sensor it is coming from! Money well spent!

    Most farmers I knew slept with one I half open and there ears pinned into what was going on around the farm !! Don't people know farmers rarely turn on a light to check things out !! I was always walking around in the dark looking in on the livestock at night !! Especially during calving and pigging time

    Can you believe people? You guys put out a video for us to enjoy. There nothing fancy about your videos. They are made from what your and your Dad do every day. It shows folks that know nothing about agriculture a chance to see what it's like.
    Then you have some idiots wanting to get on your property without your knowledge. Some nuts are going to ruin it for everyone else.
    I know I've given you a hard time about horses and how you need to be a cowboy since you work cattle. I won't do it much more. I think I you were getting pissed about it. I was just kidding and didnt want you to get po'd about it, so I quit.
    Thank you for what you di and your daily lives bring back memories of when I was 55 years younger. Maybe 45 anyway I remember doing all that work day in and day out.
    Tell your Dad thanks also.

      we had it one time our dog scared one and it tipped backwards in a water tank. It got right back out, though. Sometimes on hot days we will see them standing in them

    How long can you go between cleanings like that? Also a question for your dad. Before fancy iPhones and having the weather forecast right on your phone did you have to check it often on tv or was there a good local radio station? Did you ever wake up to real bad unpredicted weather I would imagine that could be seriously detrimental to your operation.

    Yeah, it's a shame you can't leave an installed hulking piece of heavy brass out in a field, that's $4. salvage for a Rockstar to buy a crack rock...got to make those PVC valves-couplings.
