Welcome to our exclusive first look at the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450! Built on the Sherpa 450 platform, this retro roadster boasts a 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine delivering 39.5 bhp power and 40 Nm of torque. Designed for a zesty and peppy ride, it features a revised chassis with a steeper headstock angle and a lowered subframe for a sporty, forward-arching posture.
Experience unmatched comfort with the 785 mm stock seat height of the Guerrilla 450, perfect for shorter riders. An optional flat track seat adds 20 mm for taller ones. This bike promises a nimble and agile ride, thanks to its shorter 70 mm wheelbase compared to the Himalayan.
The Enfield 450 Guerrilla has robust hardware, including a telescopic fork and a re-tuned monoshock. It rides on stylish 17-inch alloy wheels with chunkier 120-section front and 160-section rear tyres, providing a rugged yet trendy look.
Weighing in at 185 kg, the Guerrilla 450 is 11 kg lighter than the Himalayan, ensuring a more efficient ride with a mileage of 29.5 kmpl. With a smaller 11-litre tank, expect around 300 km of range.
You can also choose from 3 variants of RE Guerrilla: a base model with a digital cluster, a mid-level dual-tone variant with a TFT screen, and a top-end model featuring advanced connectivity.
The Royal Enfield Guerilla 450's price starts at Rs. 2.39 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 2.54 lakhs for the top variant.
Well, this is not the end. Our full review will be published on July 27th, so mark your calendar for a detailed walkaround of Royal Enfield Guerilla 450.

Just like hunter and to be honest it's 450 hunter for city.. But that rear 160 tyre is huge plus.. The only other bike offering 160 rear is priced at 6 lakh and it's ducati diavel like power cruiser, benelli 502c...
Having 160 rear is 650 ninja, bmw f900 type of roadster experience/ride quality with low power...

Upright stance is always better, but this riding position doesn't seem to be as aggressive as the R15 or even the Conti GT650.

These automotive reviewers don't have the guts to say things like,
    RE reused Himalayan 450 parts.
Himalayan 450 had an engine, chassis, tripper nav, suspension issues even if they were minor but they had it which needs to be rectified first.
    And majorly what's new????
I'm getting the same chassis, same engine, same "exhaust note", same suspension setup at the rear wheel.
The only thing new is 17 inches front and handlebar with 11ltr tank.
Also, seriously who's approving those colours on bikes? Looks really really aftermarket. And named as Guerrilla!! Seriously? They can do better.
At this price Triumph 400x and 400 makes lots of sense in terms of 'Everything'.
BTW I own Himalayan 411 2024. A RE fanboy but I can't avoid the truth.

    • @kirubavictor1562
      @kirubavictor1562 Před měsícem

Not really a problem if they reuse something that works, yes? And well, the niggles, I agree, they have to be worked out. But honestly, if it works on the bike, why do they have to make the parts all new, when they can use stuff that works? And well, they're trying to appeal to a younger audience with the fancy colors. Breaking new ground.
