    Been watching through a ton of your old videos lately. I didn't even realize I was a year or so late to your channel! It's like having a full year of brand new videos! AWESOME!

    "Its pretty neat that it still maintains it's squeek" then goes on to talk about the fine details of squeek manufacturing for 36 minutes.. I'm seriously dying. 😂

    Do you show what you actually sell items for? Great videos and would be cool to actually see some value associated with the item. Thanks for sharing

      Absolutely. I have an entire section of my channel dedicated to this. Just check the What Sold on EBay playlist on my channel. Thanks!

    ROFLMAO! The reason that St. Dominicous card was in there was to protect you from all the chemicals and crap that tickles your innards from the Dew 😲🙄😬😁🥤👩‍🌾

    The religious items are called Holy Cards - Usually Catholic but not exclusively. They used to sell them inside Catholic Churches and we used to collect them as kids. We also had to get the holy card for our confirmation saint.

    I gotta say... thanks for the knowledge on postcards and pencils!

    Also a little tip on the ink pens - if you hold a cigarette lighter under the tip and just wave it back and forth for about 5 seconds it will sometimes get the ink flowing. If it doesn't work try again, just be careful not to melt the nib - after 2 times with no joy - the ink is cactus.

    I watched a video recently which taught all about ephemera, which key words to use, etc., which you obviously had many examples of! The postcards were like a history lesson! I recognized the Dutch Masters right away...not sure why since I’ve never actually smoked a cigar lol I love history so this would be a neat niche to explore, thank you for sharing. I heard you talk to Chris about Song of the South, very interesting story!

      Thanks Mary. I truly love ephemera. So much to list and so much to learn! And nice Profit!

    Love this haul!! Your shirt is seriously cracking me up 😂😂 “it tickles your innards” Mountain Dew ❤️ I think the pencils were my favorite of your interesting finds! “It’s shake n bake, && I helped” Your estate sale lady is amazing for inviting you to the pre-sale! That’s so so cool!! Happy Sunday!

      I agree. Unfortunately in postcards being old isn't good enough to make it valuable. Most of them look like quarter cards.

    Nice group of postcards! It's best that you got to cherry pick the best ones rather than have to buy them all. I would stay away from the common Birthday ones and lesser holidays. The foreign country ones are tough to sell. But the teddy bear ones I saw were really nice! I saw a South Carolina which is a good state, but the Fla. ones are a tough sell since millions were made for the tourist trade. Remember, the smaller the town, the more valuable the card usually is!

    • @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter
      @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter  Před 5 lety

      Thank you. There were some smaller binders that had vintage thanksgiving and Easter postcards. I stayed away, assuming they don’t sell well but do they?

    • @postcardguy
      @postcardguy Před 5 lety +1

      @@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter there could have been a few good cards in there but in general they are not the best holidays. Always look for #1 Halloween, #2 Christmas especially blue/brown/green robed Santas. #3 Patriotic especially Uncle Sam's. Then from there Thanksgiving, St Pats Day, Easter, New Years, Birthday etc....

      I pretty much only buy real photo postcards now but, yeah they can be worth good money with the right subject matter. Ephemera has done great for me. Keep your eye out for cool old brochures when you're bundling stacks of paper at estate sales.

    I do have an old stereo scope and some old cards. Fun to look at. The little religious cards are really old and referred to as holy cards. Love the cat cards. The black memorabilia is fantastic. Really neat haul! What is your Ebay name?
