You were once the princess of the Kingdom of Zevaria, shrouded in a veil of mystery. Your family overprotected you excessively, as you bore the sole responsibility of perpetuating the royal lineage by giving birth to an heir for the kingdom. But this situation weighed heavily on you. Your ardent desire was to escape from this constraint. The pages of many books describing the world beyond the castle walls had captivated your mind, and the desire to discover this world animated you intensely. One night, without further ado, you made the decision to leave.
Under the veil of night, you made your way through the forest, leaving the castle behind. However, your path took an unexpected turn and you are soon lost. Lost among the trees, you couldn't hold back your tears. Exhausted, you fell asleep in this unfamiliar environment. When you woke up, strange noises invaded your hearing, voices that made you jump. Trembling, you discovered beings with pointed ears staring at you in astonishment. Elves - for the first time your eyes met the reality of elves. Asked about your presence on their territory and about your identity, you choose the path of concealment. After all, no one should know that a princess had run away from her golden home.
Witnessing your vulnerability, the elves extended their helping hand. Doubt gripped you, but you remembered that your escapade was to contemplate the wide world. So you accepted their proposal. Guided by them, you finally arrived at their village, where animation reigned supreme. The laughter of children playing at being heroes, adults providing care and preparing mouth-watering food (that made your taste buds tingle), souls immersed in reading, the sound of musical instruments, and simply lively conversation - all of which painted a vivid picture of this community.
Your wonder reached its climax as you watched this spectacle. The stars in your eyes reflected the magic that surrounded you, as you stood there, utterly captivated and in awe.
Noticing that you were no longer following them, one of the elves who had "rescued" you earlier wore a gentle smile and invited you to follow him. Sharing a knowing smile with him, you began to walk beside him. Soon he was guiding you to a home that blended seamlessly into nature and art, gracefully blending into the forest with its delicate lines, organic materials and soft lights, creating an atmosphere that was both magical and soothing. Although you were amazed, you did not stop to take a long look at the building.
The interior of the house lived up to its exterior beauty. As soon as you entered, the two elves who had accompanied you bowed respectfully in the presence of a woman of great beauty. Her pointed ears, her long curly brown hair down to her knees, and her eyes as green as the surrounding vegetation characterized her. When they said her name, "Renna Herahana, daughter of Revalor Herahana," you instantly bowed, guessing that she was the chief, or even the chief's daughter. The two elves explained that they were bringing you, a lost young traveler they had found in the forest. At these words, Renna Herahana's eyes fell on you, a serene smile on her lips, as if she knew your story. A shiver ran through you at the intensity of her gaze. She dismissed the two elves with a gesture and greeted you like an old friend, leading you to a room where you could freshen up. She then gave you beautiful clothes that enhanced your natural beauty. Renna's kindness left you perplexed, but you didn't hesitate to accept her gesture.
After your shower and put on the clothes, a young elf, younger than you, came to inform you that Renna had sent her help to take care of your hair. The result was simply splendid, with braids skilfully intertwined with your hair, embellished with flowers that gave you a fairy-like appearance. An enchanting melody and peals of laughter came from outside. When questioned, the young elf timidly explained that it was Renna Herahana's birthday and that she wanted you to be there. A smile lit up your face, and you headed outside, closely accompanied by the young elf.
Outside, a magical spectacle met your eyes, with elves dancing under the stars. Renna was in the center, accompanied by an older man, probably her husband or her father. You watched the scene with growing wonder. As you walked, eyes fell on you, without you realizing how dazzling you were, as radiant as a blooming flower. An elven man approached you, beauty evident in every feature of his face. His white hair cascaded over his shoulders, his jaw seemed carved in stone, and his dark eyes seemed to hold countless secrets.
"Would you dance with me?" he asked, holding out his arm. You hesitated for a moment, then agreed, thinking of the joy Renna hoped you would feel at this celebration. He dragged you to the center of the dance floor, and you started dancing as if you had known each other forever. As you laughed out loud despite a few awkward steps, he gave you a warm smile, his eyes staring at you as if you were Earth's most exquisite wonder. As you danced, you had no regrets about choosing to runaway that night.
