    • @Cameron_Caron
      @Cameron_Caron Před rokem +2

      Because of their stats, accomplishments/impact there's 8 GOAT athletes that are going to be hard for anyone to ever pass up and that's Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Jerry Rice, Wayne Gretzky, Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods and Kelly Slater.
      Yes Kelly Slater. He is an athlete, surfing is indeed a sport. Just because no one watches it or follows it doesn't make it not a sport. Slater is essentially the Tom Brady of the surfing world. The guys still winning titles in his mid 40s.
      On a side note I find it kind of odd that there isn't a unanimous "GOAT" for the Running Back position. It's very debatable. Some say Jim Brown, others say Emmett Smith, Barry Sanders or Walter Payton. For me I think it should be Emmett Smith, the guy won 3 super bowls, a super bowl MVP, was dominant in the playoffs, all time rushing yards leader, all time rushing touchdown leader, insane longevity for an RB, what more do you want? He's basically the Tom Brady of the RB position. If we're talking about who was the best version of a RB that we've ever seen and the best RB at their peak for like a 2-3 year stretch then it's gotta be Terrell Davis. 2000 yard season, the most dominant runner in playoff history, absolutely dominated in the postseason and literally carried Denver/Elway to 2 Super Bowls. Guy was unstoppable and doesn't get enough credit cause he got injured and had a short career.

    "We need to eat the weak!"
    Seriously? We just crashed!"
    If that line doesn't encapsulate Brady's level of competitiveness I don't know what does. Brady is a player to look up to, because he's not some untouchable, talent blessed arm cannon like Mahomes or A-Rod. Hes just a guy who worked harder than everyone else, and that's what made him the GOAT. Enjoy retirement Brady, and please, stay retired.

    • @thepapakeeganshow6440
      @thepapakeeganshow6440 Před 2 lety +7

      Definitely not insane arm talent, though that’s not to say he can’t throw far, from everything I’ve read so far his current best throw distance is between 67 and 68 yards during the 08 Super Bowl where he threw across the field for 65/66 yards so adding in the distance across the field it comes in somewhere between the above stated 67-68 yards. But once again I agree not insane arm talent as many have said (and I’m assuming you meant with the line about him working hard) his undying dedication to get the most perfect form for his body, arm strength, decision making etc, is what got him that, but he definitely has a solid arm.

    • @myco9253

      Just false. Brady is what happens when talent and work ethic combine perfectly, which includes talent. He is talented in every aspect of being a qb except running fast, but in every other category he is an all time talent. In some categories he is number one, such as the speed at which he makes his reads. Add in his insane competitiveness and work ethic and that is how you get the best of all time. He is also tough as hell, as throwing 50+ times a game does not tire him and he just doesn't get injured.
      Nobody who makes it to the top of their respective field is ever not talented. Work ethic only gets average people so far. Had Brady just outworked everyone he'd not be what he is today.
