#MusicReactions #LoveBites #LoveBitesReaction - Zábava
This song is a relentless assault of sonic excellence. Absolutely phenomenal. You have to admire how hard they push themselves and how well they succeed in its execution. 10/10 for sure
This song, this band.... amazing.
off the charts...
Another Miyako masterpiece. You are right, it's almost like they are daring themselves to play this live.
🤞
Great Song, in this piece the Girls broke the sound barrier, incredible, Haruna overpower on drums, Miyako, Midori and Fami stratospheric on guitar and Asami awesome range in her voice. Great Song and Great Album I hope to be able to see them live. Thank you!🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹
Harder, Faster, Louder, all hail Lovebites!
HArdeR, loUder aNd fAster!! 💪🤟😁
also a fav! Haruna's little drum solo messes me up
My favorite song on this album. It lets everyone in the band totally shine. Totally f'ing shreds. This is coming from an old metal head who grew up on 80's metal.
Lovebites constantly push themselves to new heights. Their songs get more complex and challenging with every subsequent release. I really appreciate their work ethic.
Fastest track from Lovebites, i want to see this live.
Great analysis and reaction to one of the best heavy metal band existing on planet earth now.
My favorite on the album and #1 favorite performance by HARUNA ever 🥁⭐️🏆
Nice rating bro, thanks. Super Lovebites.. mindblowing song. Craziest, fastest, top notch vocal👍👍🤘🤘
When they play this live, I need to be there to witness this. Phenomenal track.
During the comment video Miyako apologized to both Asami and Haruna because this video required Asami to hit really high notes and Haruna to play very fast.
Both responded by giving Miyako the devil horns.
Welcome back and thank you for doing this reaction to lovebites again, this song was so crazy with the speed of every instruments 👍❤️, LOVEBITES ROCK
Just great review!!
I get the impression that with Fami they have been able to add another gear in their music
I think there is no band at the past or present who would let these ladies open for them - no matter what their main show will be like , Lovebites would put them to shame - love this band !! 🤘🔥🔥🔥🐺🇿🇦🤘
any metalband in the whole wide world is invited to cover this one, if they believe they can do it equally good or better.
I concur, I concur I concur: To conceive, design, and execute a ferocious and complex masterpiece as this, the depth of the musical abilities must include: strong command of music theory, proficient music sheet reading and writing accomplished musicians, multi intrumentalist and Jedi Level execution and control of time signature dynamics ,which Lovebites have proven time and again to be masters of time signature dynamics. The first three requirements by itself places a caveat on most metal bands to try a cover of this composition. And if time signature dynamics is considered, most guitar players fail in this aspect. And not to forget, how many bands in this world comprise of members who are all accomplished composer musicians? But first, how do other metal bands execute compositions which they can hardly conceive and design to be chaotic but beneath it all is asymmetry and balance which makes it an epic masterpiece?
Just sharing my 2 cents worth to show that the odds are razor thin for any metal band to try a cover of this. Well if Lovebites be proof of the paradox, I reckon music sheet musicians from the Prog jazz fusion and funk and R&B field might have better odds.
Goddesses metal band💯🔥🤘
This could be my new favorite LoveBites song! Its an absolute certified banger!!!!! Do you agree with the score i gave it?
100% agreed 🤘
It’s a 15/10 for me but I’m happy with your 10… absolute masterclass!
LOVEBITES is opening for you and end their set list with this song. 1. FML and 2. You'd almost have to play your best song 1st just to keep the crown energy / engagement going, right? Not that Lovebites should be an opening act at this point, but if I were in a metal band would I have them open for me...not on your F life. I don't care how good my band is, how do you compete with this??!! This song is a 20/10 for me, my favorite song of all time by any band PERIOD! 😀🤘
The only Lovebites track I’ve singled out as a favourite. It beats Painkiller.
Yup it's a 10++. I'm surprised if Haruna doesn't spontaneously combust after doing this one live. 🤣🤣🤣
Bro if you haven't seen it. The ladies of Lovebites live streamed with the release of the album and there are English subtitles. Miyako composed this track and I guess it really pushed Asami and Haruna to their limits and they were good naturedly bitched at Miyako about it (they were all writing on like artists paper) and Miyako wrote down Asami and Haruna.... sorry! Check it out fun. They didn't stop the song or anything. It just showed a different side of them
This song gets 10 out of 10 peacocks! 🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚 🤯
any metal fan who does not love this song does not have a pulse!!!!!!!!!
I disagree as "metal" is such a wide genre and this song is so very focused on speed and melody and not every metal subgenre necessarily is. The genre is too wide to make blanket statements like that imo (funnily enough: I have seen statements like that with songs on the other side of the spectrum by fans of other Japanese bands as well and I didn't agree there either). Different people look for different things in music (in metal as well), that doesn't make them wrong.
My guess is that the majority of (Eurropean) power metal fans and possibly traditional metal or heavy metal fans will really like this song, but metal fans who generally listen to Doom Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal or Folk Metal (to name a few) might not necessarily love this (I'm sure there are some who would and some who won't).
I am not a big fan of power metal myself, I don't dislike this song and I enjoy some parts of it but I certainly don't love it and I still have a pulse last time I checked :). It's a wellmade song though and I do understand why so many seem to love it.
Great reaction as usual, thank you! Haruna is extraordinary in this masterpiece!
That’s how you end an amazing album 🐺🤘🏻
🔥🔥🔥🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🔥🔥🔥
I already call them "goddesses". They play this live, I don't know what to call them... I don't know what's above goddess level😅🤘
I´m confident, that they can pull this off live
Lovebites level :D
they do not disappoint...
You should do Powerwolf's "No Prayer At Midnight" since they're finally coming to the states. :)
This song is like Avenged Sevenfold on crack definetly
I was moved to tears. This new album is a masterpiece which will be remembered in history.
This one is a little too "epic" in sound for me personally as a not too huge fan of power meta and as someone who generally prefers "midrange vocals" over high pitched ones. I personally prefer at least a couple other tracks on the album over this one (at least "Judgement Day", "Dissonance" and "Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)"). But I still enjoy this one, the solos are great as always. Fami also got a part to poke through with her bass, which I appreciate.
I can see myself getting more used to this one though and enjoy it more. I can certainly see why people who love this style of power metal might love this one, it's really well executed.
@Eyeosphere00
I don't dislike the track and I am sure it will grow on me. It's not as overly epic as some of the other (mostly Mao written) tracks are either, Asami's vocals are a little on the high side for me on this one which might be what makes it less as a standout for me. But I might have to come back to you once I listened to the album more as it might become more of a "Holy War" for me after more listens. "Holy Way" certainly is also a power metal track, but I do really enjoy that one a lot nowadays, hearing that one multiple times was one of the reasons what made me try to get into them more by buying a Blu-ray (which gave me "Set the World on Fire", which is still one of my favourite songs by them). "Soldier Stands Solitarily" has the potential to get at the "Holy War" level for me.
I like Hanabie a lot as well actually even though the more electronic sound they mix in is generally also not for me, but for some reason it works with them and I'm still not sure why (I really dislike PassCode for example for the same reasons). I agree they are a mixed bag live. Their vocalist Yukina and the drummer Sae are pretty good live, but guitarist Matsuri's vocals are not really my thing in general and she is really inconsistent Live (vocalwise at least) and Hettsu (who's vocals I like better Live actually) is not that technicaly compared to a lot of Japanese bassists. She is good, but the bass is not that high in a lot of their music, so she doesn't bring that much live. They also use a huge amount of backing tracks which sometimes overpower the sound of the band because of shoddy mixing (and the mostly tiny venues they have played in until now). They are going to perform at some Zepp shoes though, so they are at least growing. They are not among my top favourite Japanese bands, but I like them quite a bit and am curious about a new full album. I suspect they are trying to find a label first because their album is constantly sold out because they manage the sale themselves. They should be able to do so if they keep growing in and outside Japan.
But yes I have seen so-so performances by them as well as better ones. One thing you can not fault them for is their energy on stage and the joy they have playing.
As far as Lonesome Blue goes, only time will tell. Seeing what happened to Hagane makes me even more scared for them because for some reason both bands are very similar to my mind (even though they do play different genres). Both have always felt very "manufactured" to me and while I am not a huge fan (of both) I am always sad to see a band basically fall apart. Hopefully I am wrong, but I still have a feeling the more Rock style might not be something Narumi is looking for (it's at least not what she has played in the past). But we will see, I am sure Victor will do everything in it's power to push them forward. They have clearly decided to help them get as far as they can.
@Eyeosphere00
They lost 3/5 members, their vocalist, drummer and one of the guitarists on the same day. The only two left are guitarist Sakura Yoshida (who is the person who wrote the music and lyrics and arranged everything) and their bassist.
Their sound was (imo) Sakura Yoshida + the vocalist Uyu + keyboard backingtracks with the 3 other members in the background of that. And since Sakura Yoshida (who is admittedly a talented guitarist and has 85k subs on youtube) wrote everything, they might have left because she had too much control, so because of "creative differences". It honestly reminds me of Mina in Destrose/Fate Gear for some reason. They also don't have a label, so it's possible that money is tight. They didn't say why they left and they will still finish their tour until May or something, so we will probably never know.
A lot of people seemed to like their vocalist Uyu. I personally am not the biggest fan, but the production doesn't help and she is certainly not a bad vocalist. So I was somewhat surprised that she left as well. I do think a lot of people link her sound to the band because of how high she is in the mix.
I did buy their album to give them a decent look and own 2 of their DVD's but haven''t gotten around to watch them. I really didn't like the production on their album and their music is in general not for me, but I did expect them to continue to grow over the next couple of years. They seemed pretty popular already for how young of a band they are and I actually think they would continue to grow outside of Japan as well. It's an other reason why I compare them to Lonesome Blue, I can see the same thing there.
They don't play this live ...too bad...to hard to pull off
I bet they will - but then I'm gonna blow myself :P
I bet, they will! They just didn't do it in March, 3 weeks after the release, which I could understand very well!
ill fly to Japan just to see them play it live!!!
@@rainerzufall42
