The first minute-and-a-half of this scene is hilarious. Even Yujin was happy to take a flogging for his wife's pregnancy lol, though the poor lord had to do a double-take on the realization of the emperor's phrase of "My imperial general is knocked up." Yujin thought Ye Zhao was dizzy again for wearing her helmet until it dawned upon him that the emperor said "knocked up" and not just "knocked or dizzy".
The King is so funny in these scene. Actually it was because of him. He remove the General from position and told them to take the time and rest at home so that the general will get pregnant. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't know exactly the rank and title of the lady by the emperor. But she is so sweet and kind. She should have been the empress because she (in her own way) rules with compassion, grace, and fairness. She treats the servants well and she cooks right along with them. She makes the emperor happy.

Sheng Yilun was so good at comedy in this drama. He was so good at the intense scenes in Go princess Go. What an actor! Except for Prince Qi, everyone of the royal family seemed to like Yujin, including the Noble Consort. They signaled to each other in front of the emperor. She was like his mother or older sister, always trying to protect him. Such Interesting relationship. I also love the interaction between the uncle and nephew, between Yujin and his mother, and between Yujin and his grandmother. He loved his grandmother so much.

one of the cutes things in this drama is the duke and emperor relationship. Remeber in the beginning Yujin said his uncle got into trouble for punishing him by his grandmother.
They are Royals but they are family above all. When Dowager Empress died was a very sad scene since people was mourning Empress, but Yuyin only was mourning his dear Grandmother and he love her too much. I liked a lot this way of relationship between all royal family members.

I am not so sure.... same with General Ye. The Emperor himself said that Yujin done well in dealing with things.. The problem is that because certain elements did not wish General Ye to be reinstated for various reasons ( do not want to say too much here in case spoils for those who do not know ) They put pressure on the Emperor to first off remove his most capable General and he knows this as says so a few times himself. The way to remove her without loosing face is to say is displeased with Yujin's performance... but you can tell in previous episodes the Emperor did not want to remove the General and was in fact happy with his performance as the Emperor says. He performed well.
Yes he is, but not because he is acting wrong or being an unuseful person but his ways are not so right and Emperor often finds himself against a wall trying to get everything settled.
Seems like finally, the emperor is beginning to respect Yujin. I was getting so annoyed with the Emperor bullying him all the time and not seeing that Yujin was changing.
Maybe it's just another way to stimulate Yu Jin?

Some sections will drag a little… but definitely well worth the time. Brilliantly done! I wish we make quality series here in the States again. Oh, it’s called “Oh My General” and has elements of the Mulan story. Great acting, witty script, and delicious colors. 👍👍👍👍
