SciShow, CrashCourse, Minutephysics, Veritasium എന്നിങ്ങനെ കുറെ സയൻസ് ചാനെൽസ് ഫോളോ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു വ്യക്തി ആണ്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് അത്യാവശ്യത്തിനു നന്നായി അറിയാവുന്നതു കൊണ്ട് അതിൽ പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം മനസ്സിലാവാറും ഉണ്ട്. എന്നാലും ഇടക്ക് ചിന്തിക്കും "ഇതൊക്കെ മലയാളത്തിൽ കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ എന്ത് നന്നായിരുന്നു" എന്ന്. എന്തൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞാലും സ്വന്തം മാതൃഭാഷയിൽ ഒരു കാര്യം കേൾക്കുമ്പോ അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കൂടുതൽ എളുപ്പം ആണ്. മാത്രം അല്ല ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഫോളോ ചെയ്യാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു ഉള്ള കുറെ ആളുകൾ ഉണ്ട്. ഇത് പോലെ ആയിര കണക്കിന് സയൻസ് വീഡിയോ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും ഭാഷ കാരണം ഇതൊന്നും പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്താൻ കുറെ പേർക്ക് പറ്റുന്നില്ല എന്ന് ആലോചിക്കുമ്പോ സങ്കടം തോന്നാറുണ്ട്. (Sometimes I send the link of an interesting video to my mom and she is like "I wish I could understand it. But it's hard to follow US and British English". She is just one among millions who have a keen interest to learn the stuffs but the language stops them from doing it) ഇത് പോലെ ഉള്ള വീഡിയോകൾ അങ്ങനെ ഉള്ളവർക്ക് ഭയങ്കര ആശ്വാസം ആണ്. വീണ്ടും ഇത് പോലത്തെ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. At the end of the day English is just another language like any other language and a language shouldn't be a hinder for anyone who loves to acquire knowledge. I appreciate the effort Mr. Ratheesh and I am looking forward to hearing more from you :)

Great talk. Very informative. But there was an unrelated question about chicken and egg at the end. You answered that chicken came first. Could you please explain why?
That question, as you know is very tricky. I just based my answer on the fact that in today's scenario the protein required for producing the egg shell namely OV-17 is only found in the ovaries of chicken. SO it has to be a chicken that came first. Then where did that chicken come from? IT should have hatched out of an egg of a species that was related t the current chicken , may be a proto chicken. So that was the egg of a proto chicken and not that of a chicken. I hope you got the point. ALERT: There are some oversimplifications in this answer.

This question arises precisely due to the failure of the beauty you just applauded. I have not talked much about the structure of the node, the directionin which molecules enter the node etc. etc. and their importance of it in embryonic development.(That has a big role. However due to time constraints I did not talk about it) Now, if the monocilia are fixed at one end and then turns only in one direction, any fluid that comes into contact with it will have a directional flow. Now if the molecules are introduced on the right side, then it will flow to the left.

The evolutionary origins of this is still an open question. There are some clues in the movement of Cothurnocystis and related organisms. However such things could not be included in the talk.

Very good class .But the more you explain the attempt to explain out by chance and unintelligent , undirected random evolution fails. Here he canot explain why and how but could say only the process behind it. The more you learn micro biology the more you become confused between theism and atheism.
Can you kindly clarify what you mean by why and How ?
You canot say why and how the human body works in such a way . for example you said heart pumps with twist effect to avoid clotting. Then how can you say that " why and how the human body knows about the trouble in advance and make such a working system that the blood pumping is safe"?. According to atheistic view " cosmos , matter and life originated by chance and developed by random natural selection , which is without any purposeful direction. How can an unintelligent , unconscious "matter" could recognize and organize , and make corrections in such a way . And why should it in a functionable - perfect way instead of other way by matter.?

It is not that I cannot say how the heart shows dextral (right handed) looping; I did not talk about its mechanism because that was not the focus of the talk. There are lot of people out there who have spend their lifetime understanding these mechanisms and have brought light into these areas. A paper was published in Nature 2013 (doi:10.1038/ncomms3754) where this aspect is clearly discussed. I recommend you read it.
To answer your second point, please do not be disillusioned that things are in a function able - perfect way always. It is not always so. There are situations where the heart does not loop, or loop in the wrong direction, or may just be delayed; all having serious consequences.
