Reminds me a lot of Bryce Harper… I know baseball is NEVER a guarantee with prospects, especially high school, but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t become a star in the bigs.

Point is he’s #1 for a reason. His ranking isn’t based on his high school performance in bum fuck Indiana. He’s played tournaments on and against the best teams in the world for his age. He’s played the top competition baseball has to offer around the world and has performed well enough to be considered the best player in the nation. Don’t get me wrong, he’s got a lot of work to do. But you don’t get to #1 by happenstance.
