- The idea of botox or injections makes a lot of people uncomfortable. Even though our culture values looks, getting botox crosses some invisible line of caring “too much” about how we look. Which labels us as vain or insecure or superficial. So we’re made to feel bad for doing it, talking about it, or even just thinking about it.
But the truth is, everybody cares about their looks to some degree. And if you say you don’t, you’re probably lying. Because when you look good, you feel good. And feeling good isn’t just a good thing, it’s a really important thing. So if looking good helps us feel good, then damn right we should feel good about it.

Wow, I agree with Ash. I don't usually comment on these things (and won't be responding to any hateful replies from the company, since that seems to be their thing), but this ad only contributes to the problem. Ask yourself, WHY does looking that way make her feel so good? And why is the only person of colour in this ad being portrayed as annoying, nagging and judgmental? It just feeds into racism and patriarchy.
I was prepared to hate this. I am not too proud to admit I was wrong. Now seriously, GTFOH.
