That 212cc engine will take you faster than you should ever go. Trikes like that are very unstable when making turns. Be careful. Also the engine will last longer and be more reliable if left stock.

Hey man me and my buddy were actually going to do this exact same thing with and identical tricycle so its cool seeing that someone has successfully done it.
I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer for me about this build...
    1) how did you solve this rear axle issue, meaning did you just leave the rear wheels independent like it came stock or did you have to install (or create) a new different axle that allowed for power to transfer to both rear tires?
    2) and if you didn't mess with the rear axle(s) at all because there is power only going to the rear right wheel do you feel it pulling to the right at all while riding?
Thanks again for posting this man, very cool.

    • @ThirstyBacon

No issues with assembly for me czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".

❌❌❌ I have 2 Schwinn Meridian Tricycles I would love to sell! Love this guy’s engine on a trike, just not this lightweight Bike that compares to the same weight as the Schwinn Meridian, very Dangerous! I’m in South Florida and even mildly rough sidewalks with the most padded cushioned seats will crack your nut’s! 🤨 I weigh 165 lbs and peddling at a moderate pace and gently turn and depending on which turn I make, one of the rear tires lifts off the ground. If you try aggressively pedaling and turn the bike will flip. This build was demonstrated on a straight line on a level elevation. Notice he didn’t demonstrate doing a turn. I can’t imagine the weight and powerful Predator engine on these light framed tricycles even on smooth elevation’s, unless you have great Life Insurance. These bikes were manufactured for lightweight use, not installing additional equipment. Adding heavy clutches, steel engine mounts plates, engine, extra sprockets, chains and Converter. But with heavy frames and fat boy tires this would be my only way to invest in this type ride. My bikes are like new give me a call I’ll make you a deal, but wouldn’t recommend putting aa engine on them, unless you like living on the EDGE and having good life insurance for your loved one’s.🤣🎉
