- The full build of the plastic model kit Toyota GR 86 in 1/24 by Tamiya 24361.
Out of box build without any detailing. The kit is self more than full. There is detailed interior, engine, chassis. Very nice and precise model. Hope you like the build process and used color (hot lava orange).

Great build as usual. You brought that 86 to life in scale. If I may ask, where did you get the miniature pad you used to polish the paint with.

the new 86 existed due to the exit of Initial D where the hero car was a AE86, later fitted with a TRD turbo engine
good to know.:)
this 86 got a boxer 4 2-litre engine turbo designed by Toyota and Subaru that gives almost 200bhp, much more than the older AE86 gave

sorry it’s a 2.4L boxer making 228bhp
it does NOT have a turbo either. it’s subarus 2.4L FA24 NA making 228bhp
@@boogie2353that is the TRD model of the 86. I have a 2017 86 base, and it 200-205. The TRD has a 2.4L boxer engine while the base model has a 2.0L boxer engine.
