My order of six of these came in today and I could not be more impressed. A lot of companies say they want to grow the game, but Savage X is actually doing it with this price point!
Nice! Good investment.
My son has used his Savage X Titanium 7x for over a year and loves it! The price point is incredible and customer service is spot on! #GrowTheGame the right way!
I’m so excited for high school lacrosse to start
Me too!
Carson canada sorry bruh...
Nathan Ninham his comment did not age well
Trent I forgot about this and just got sad lol my freshman season ruined
Thank you so much for doing this video and shedding light on this company. As a second year high school coach with a brand new program this is going to help me so much. 👍
I like that your posting more often now!
I tend to go in spurts. Hopefully I can stick with it this time.
Still have my STX titanium handle from 2001. Been used for 14 out of 19 seasons with only 1 small ding.
Now sits on my RP3 HS ( box pinched ) with 2 year old broken in 6D traditional pocket.
I also have several STX Ti handles and plan on having my team use them when coaching. I also have started to bring this up to lacrosse companies… Planned obsolescence tends to work best when a producer has at least an oligopoly. Before introducing a planned obsolescence, the producer has to know that the customer is at least somewhat likely to buy a replacement from them (see brand loyalty).

I absolutely love mine it’s white and looks clean. It’s wearing down a little but it’s been almost a year
as a fogo it's important to have something strong that wont snap when an lsm is slashing my hands getting a gb, and even if it does, these handles would save my pockets so much
I'm very sad that they don't make 60"
They will have a dpole next year.
I was thinking the same thing
If you’re still looking for one, they are selling the 60” now
Can you do a review of the STX stallion omega? I’ve heard it’s even stiffer than the DNA
Yes. Mine should be showing up any day now. Takes a while to get stuff out in the wild wild west.
I wonder how this compares to the $25Lax room shafts
wow this is something big, you can now get n awesome sick and head for under 150
Ik it says its 20$ but it kinda is 40$ with shipping and all of that other stuff but it is still cheap af
Is the savage x website legit?
Yes it is
7075 T6 is an aluminum alloy. What’s up.
Not to be a dick, but these are not titanium like a warrior titan series would be. It's (7075) an aluminum-zinc alloy with titanium in it, like half a percent, with some other stuff like magnesium and nickel. To be fair this is the same material that literally every other lacrosse manufacturer sells in their 75-100$ pricepoint aluminum shafts i.e StringKing Metal, Warrior Krypto, most Stx shafts etc. The difference can be shape and wall thickness which will dictate the weight of the shaft, 162 grams is about what the "high-school" level string king metal shafts weigh for reference. From looking at their website the difference between the regular and X is that the anodizing fades into another color on the X and you pay 10 bucks more for it.

Why is it beginner if it’s the same material as the stx surgeon
I don't know the answer to that question. Ten points to Gryffindor!
It's not really, these shafts have titanium in them but they are principally an aluminum alloy, a very good one, most lacrosse shafts are the same couple of aluminum alloys being re branded. This is the same material used in the StringKing Metal shafts. As long as you like the shape of these they're a great deal.
@@chriskerwin3904 Totally agree. Messed around with a couple of these today and there's nothing about them that could distinguish them as "beginner" shafts. These are probably most comparable in weight and feel to the Nike Vandal, which is used at all levels of play - even Lyle Thompson uses one!
It has to do with the thickness of the shaft wall which is represented by the weight. The website says 162 grams, I think the Surgeon is a little heavier which means the wall of the shaft is thicker. Same material, its called 7075, it has Titanium in it and a lot of other metals. Developed by the Japanese in the 1940s for their aerospace program, its been used in sporting goods and a lot of other stuff since then. Really good material. They didn't say beginner, they said U16.
Independent trucks with Santa Cruz Slime Balls (Speed Wheels SCREAM!!) and el cheapo bearings rule. Gullwings and Rat Bones are for POSERS!! If you used Gullwings you probably never duct taped your shoes and probably used ollie bolts.
Santa Cruz decks and wheels was what I mostly rode, but I LOVED Rat Bones. There wasn't a better wheel for bombing hills in San Francisco.
@@redstarlacrosse Rob Roskopp was king. That round tail on his deck made my ollies pop!
@@TheBayhylleChannel Nice. I was always more of a Jason Jesse kind of guy. I skated with Roskopp...he was kind of a barney ;-)
