Heisler Solutions - Lacrosse Throat Lock
heislersolutions.com/
Tired of drilling holes, taping heads, and flipping shafts? Save your equipment from an early expiration by converting the damaging self tapping screw for a permanent solution with infinite uses. Perfect for traveling coaches and players who frequently take sticks apart.
The head-lock epoxy-in solution uses a 3d printed block from carbon infused filament, that holds a stainless 4-40 thread heat press insert. A 1/16” hex head screw is used. The included Allen bit is kept in another block near the butt end of the stick. Never worry about needing a screwdriver
With this device you are able to torque the head down to the shaft without having to worry about stripping the hole. Another advantage is that head rattle significantly decreases.
Some similar devices use a stud that passes through both ends of the head. While this does allow for a similar result, the clamping force isn't applied from the head correctly, potentially resulting in head rattle. Other devices simply add more plastic for a self tapping screw to eventually ruin.
Includes
Thread-Lock device
Allen bit storage device
4-40 hex head screw+washer hardware
1/16” Allen bit
Non-sag single use epoxy with mixing stick (halved)
Installation instructions included.

Worst net ever. Impossible to setup. Don’t. Buy.
I wonder if they’ve changed over the years. I kind of remember it being easy to set up….but my memory of it is a bit fuzzy.
I wish I had a Q-Collar before I sustained a TBI in 2016!
I wish you did too! That's a bummer...hope you're doing OK.
How hot do you need
Is it 6ft
❤❤
hes ok and playing dog teams. still needs to work on left hand.
My son has broken his thumb twice now with these on. First time with CellV and the second time with the RZR2. The cage is awesome and does most of the work. However, they still have a huge flaw in not being able to transfer the force back into the hand. They look like they do, but there is nothing inside preventing the entire thumb of the glove to crush backward towards the wrist All gloves share this flaw..
Is the but end removable
Yes but it is challenging
Takes some work
@@numbersota7266 oh i was thinking about getting a new shaft but didn’t know what to get
Thanks for doing this video. It is absolutely not inconsequential. People need to know. 😉😁
I know it's a different brand but I was in Japan and I tried on Epoch Integra Select II gloves and really liked how they fit, but wasn't able to bring them back home due to lack of space in my luggage. Then I saw they don't really sell them in my country, but there's Epoch Integra Pro gloves. I was wondering how those compare to the Integra Select II
This won't let you switch heads and shafts with different screw hole locations. Unless you skip the epoxy part.
Seems like a much more inconvenient stringking screw setup
Hi there, my name is Drew Heisler I’m the designer of this product. Thank you for the input. One of the core ideas behind its design is for it to be used in other sticks that don’t have this feature. I agree the installation isn’t exactly “convenient”, but I would consider the end result to be very sleek and convenient
My dream was to have a lacrosse stick or to make one but i think you are good at making one i think i want you to make me five of those because i was wondering if my family can play with me and of course they will always say yes i always hear the word yes from my family and if your in canada can you please bring me five or if your in a different country also
Can you use it in a game!?
Finally! I've been looking for something like this for ages
Thanks bro, really helpful! I have missed many high fives in my life. This will make me miss no more!
I was looking to get a pair of the Nike alpha hurache 8 pros. I wear the brand new Nike vapor speed 2s and I wear a 12.5 which feel kind of big. If I were to buy a pair of nike alpha huarache 8 pro s in a 12 how do you think that would be?
how do they compare to the XP (previous version) , which are marked down $99. OR the Mav M5 for $99 ?
Go with the gloves on sale. Those are great gloves, at great prices.
@@redstarlacrosse thank you
I would drop some money on this game for lacrosse is very underrated
Jesus Christ loves you man! God bless you!! Keep at it bro!
20 balls = $90 in 2024... that's not inflation. it's just the usual lax parent financial rape. fuck you guardian.
How does that head take dye?
Saw a home dyed D2C today, it looked great
@7:38 as soon as you make a rig like that you can probably start cranking a few of these out with just more pvc edit: and after playing with it so many fine tuning adjustments can be made!! This is so cool to see especially with lacrosse being added to the olympics for 2028!!!
it was good for like 6 months then it got a terrible warp. now i got a mark 2f trying that
Great review. How do they compare to the STX Rzr 2‘s?
I just got a pair and I have RZRs. These may be better. They're really comfortable and have a good feel
After talking about it for 5 minutes, it definitely sounds like you dont care who did it first
Good point. Thanks for participating.
Wow, a year later and it only takes you an hour to respond. Never have I been more convinced that someone doesnt care.@@redstarlacrosse
Love the kinetik 2.0, would u recommend the 3.0 as an upgrade?

i was wondering can you change the encap on the true helios
i was wondering can you change the end cap on the true helios?
but the top is missing!!
I do talk about that, and show a fix in Photoshop. I should have shown it in illustrator too, but I was lazy I guess.
in cc 2024 its mode, multi channel
I wonder how fast a shot could be combining the Spark with a STX Hyper Power
Might be a fun combo!
Thanks for the review! And you nailed it on the physics, the flex allows the ball to stay in the pocket just a split second longer and that longer time in the pocket generates a little bit more power. We actually have some clinical trials showing a 5-7% increase in shot speed MPH, compared with someone using their own stick, and some other non-flex sticks. We will post those test results to our website in the next week or two
BEST Defensive Head on the Market !!! Thanks for this video !!!
Which one is the best D2?
Hopefully with the return of college teams to video games there will be a return of this too. I think improvements to the original concept and the addition of DI college teams will give it another chance.
Got the D2 ground ball for my son’s LSM stick. Excited to see how it plays. Definitely very stiff, feels completely different than any other D head he owns. Im kind of concerned it will be brittle in colder weather but that’s the excitement of playing with new toys
I bought a d2t, looking forward to playing with it!
tbt to steve berger using the edge as an attackman
Hey can u do a pocket tutorial on the xp2 o please! That would be amazing
I was hoping you’d review these. Your channel has been a huge help to me over the years as my son got into lacrosse a few years ago. Can’t wait to see these on the field this season.
I agree with everything you mentioned. Great video and analysis!
Your kid seems like a good guy
THANK YOU! This has been bugging me too 😁
kind of crazy that Huarache fully departed from Nike's football line and went with Nike soccer instead
hey what size do u use and how do they fit
These are Large, and they fit me perfectly. I'm 5'10", and have average sized hands.
I’m 6’3 and have bigger than normal hands and they also fit
Would love to have one of these!
