    Ordered a Howa 1100 LR Sept 2020 from NSW. It arrived last month. Using CCI standard HP at 28 yds it shot a .24" group straight up. For the price, I am happy with that.

    I like that the mag release is behind the mag.
    I have a howa 1500 mini.
    And its easy to drop the mag by accident in thick brush ,with the mag release in the front.

    I just bought this rifle on a whim. I saw it, I really liked it and since I don't have a 22LR I figured ah what the hell. I bought it for several reasons, including practicing my fundamentals because I'm guilty as charged. I don't do the sight alignment by focusing on the reticle and blurring the target so this is a great alternative to wasting expensive ammo practicing. My only gripe is that I didn't do the research and didn't know it doesn't come with a scope base. You can buy it with a scope base, rings, and optic combo but I didn't know that. I didn't have a selection to choose from or else I would have because here it's only about $50 more I think? Not the biggest deal in the world. But if it helps, I found two resources for scope bases just in case someone else runs into the problem I had. The Remington 541 scope base apparently works and the EGW or Ruger American Rimfire share the same scope base. I went with an EGW scope base and it's perfect. I too added an M-Lok rail to the underside so I could bolt a bipod.

    Great video. I'd like to see you measure the groups please. The magazine looks very CZ 452/455/457'ish. Can you please compare them, I wonder if they are the same? Could you also compare the Howa to the Ruger American Rimfire as they are similarly priced.

    @allmonkeysallthetime Před 3 lety +2

    Up voted and subscribed to support you. That out of the way, here is what I think would have made the video better:
    -State the thread pitch (I cannot find this on Howa's website so would be nice to know)
    -Give the stock a bit of a flex to show how rigid (or not) it is
    -Point out there are both Torx and hex head bolts on it because that is strange
    -Explanation of what the glob of white stuff on the end of bolt on the the trigger packs is for (looks like white lithium grease, but why there?)
    -Explain why the bend on the safety selector looks to have scratches on it [04:42]
    -Clean your firearms and especially clean them before filming a CZcams video as there is what looks like rust on the blued safety/bolt catch part on the rifle trigger pack shown for comparison [04:42]
    Overall a good video and I really appreciated the multiple brands of ammo tested with the very accurate disclaimer on .22lr firearms.

    More and more of these .22 lr rifles are being sold with no iron sights, why?. I personally like putting a rifle scope on my .22 LRs but I like having the irons for backup. I do not have the co - witness rifle scope bases but its comforting to know the irons are there in case the rifle scope is knocked out of commission. Those are impressive groups, how far are you shooting?

    I was really hoping this rifle would have been better. They have submoa guarantees on their other rifles, but not the 22lr. Thing jams and has horrible accuracy. Idk if it's the magazine design or what, but get ready to dent up some 22lr cases.
