I love that everyone who had a GameCube or experienced the GameCube took away some level of nostalgia. I personally would play Mario Party 7 with my cousins all day when I was younger and that is one of my most prized games because of those memories.
Oh absolutely! The console had a lot of amazing games that are some of my favorites of all time. 😊
MP7 came with my pre owned cube when I was a kid and me and my sister must have unlocked nearly everything together. Good times.

Great video Rect!! I didn't grow up with a Gamecube... I was a PS2 and Xbox guy. lol. But nowadays I got some good titles including the Zeldas, Smash, Twin Snakes, etc.
By sheer luck I was able to get a GameCube for all around $70. Best time of my life after working concrete
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger was pretty fun when I played it on the GameCube.
I loved my GameCube! At the time I had the OG Xbox and I played that console a lot. But one Christmas my mom handed me a box and it had a GameCube with Mario sunshine, a N64 with wave race and 1080, and also a Dreamcast with sonic adventure, house of the dead 2 and crazy taxi. To this day I still have them and play them when I have the time. But the GameCube to me was special. The first game I played was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and I loved the graphics and the story mode. Then my mom let me borrow some of her games like Luigi’s mansion, Medal of Honor and few others, and never once did I hate any of them. My mom also played Mario sunshine with me and that was a time that I wish I could go back to. But now I have a 2yr and I will definitely bring these to her and enjoy the experience I did with my mom. But I loved your video! Definitely going to go after some games that I was never able to get or never been able to find and play them, I definitely want the experience of it. Take care!
This was an awesome Gamecube video! There are so many cheap games still in 2023 for the best console ever! Subbed because Gamecube is all you need! 😅😊
Cool collection, had the gamecube back then but most of my games were lost, rebuying them is a pain ( even hough I also buy games I didn't played back then :D).
I would very much recommend some Mario multiplayer games, it's a great console for local multiplayer.
Obviously you have Smash Melee, but mario Strikers, Mario Party 7 and especially 6 are some of the best Mario Party games ever made. And lets not forget Mario Kart DD that is probabably one of the best (if not) Mario Kart game.
The Star Wars Rogue Leaders and Metroid games are also absolutely worth trying, great games that aged very well to this day. Other than that most of the big classics that are Gamecube exclusive have been mentionned (minus some like Pikmin,Fire Emblem, Monkey Ball or Pokémon Colosseum/XD) but let's not forget cross-plateform titles like Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, XIII, Rayman 3, Need for Speed U2 / MW, Turok Evolution, Time Splitters, Beyond good and Evil, 007 Nightfire and so on :)

- The N64 passed on de CD, but the carts allowed high piracy protection and very high loading speeds, unlike the Playstation. Can you Image Mario 64 or OOT with long loading screens? Yeah no.
- The mini discs were an in beetween. They were finally moving on with a disc based system. The mini discs allowed higher piracy protection, and faster loading screens but the tradeoff is less storage. Imo I find those mini-discs cool and charming.
- Zelda WW is absolutely a great game. Didn't really liked it back then, but the artstyle aged exceptionally well, the dungeons are very good, the ocean and adventure feel top notch.
Maybe give it another chance someday?

Ty The Tasmanian Tiger is a classic! I had it on the original Xbox, but either way it's a quality game! It's definitely worth checking out when you get a chance. It has mechanics and a play style that's completely unique😎

Absolutely adore the GameCube… my uncle had the classic indigo and I can always remember playing SSX, Windwaker and Fifa just sitting on the floor for hours on end... I want those days back
Great points.. I was into PlayStation then myself and I remember the DVD player being a selling point.. I started collecting GameCube games last year and playing them on my Wii.. So many great games that I never got to play and honestly it’s like playing a new system 😊.. Also the HDMI upgrade for the Wii is the best 10$ investment I ever made gaming wise
I love gamecube,I have my collection too top 20 rarest titles I have duplicates and is true I spended a lot of money but my collection looks really cool
Great video. I sold my GameCube and all my gaming collection in 07. Wish I kept my cube as I missed out on loads of amazings games Zelda, doshin, wave race, eternal darkness paper Mario etc. I really want to start again but some of the games are just stupid prices
That's cool I found your video and I just got my online order of the GameCube yesterday. Call me weird but I had to get the Indigo GameCube with the digital output and I wanted one that was Made In Japan (was hard to find one in that color for a decent price)! What pushed me I found a GameCube Scooby Doo game at Goodwill few months back so I decided to purchase since I do shop there a lot!

I started collecting for the gamecube in 2022 and i gotta say... Im pretty sure id be much closer to buying a house if it wasnt because how irresponsible i am for buying so many games. Im down like 4-6 games i still want and im done but man. I wouldnt really recommend it unless you have somewhat deep pockets. I only did because im a 30+ year old and i still live with my parents lol.

Lmao I just bought a like new copy of Windwaker. I like it, it’s got a completely different art style in a fun way. Not a traditional Zelda game so I can see why people don’t like it but I wasn’t a Zelda fan growing up on the GameCube so I didn’t play anything Zelda until BOTW, so that’s probably why I’m more receptive to it.

Yes you should. I collect everything Japanese. Games are much cheaper pre owned.
Starfox Adventures I can't tell you how many times I have completed this. Very hated game which is understandable due to its history but for me its amazing. Still would have loved to see Dino Planet tho.
PS: Japanese Zelda games are so much cheaper!

Gamecube is one console I never had and even though I want to collect for one, I couldn't justify paying for the games. I tend to avoid nintendo as a collection as a whole
I just hate games are 2x to 3x what they are actually worth. But I guess they are only worth what people are willing to pay for them
