Acts 17:27 and Jeremiah 23:23 The problem with God is not that He's so far away that we can't see Him. Rather, He is so close that we overlook Him.That means, if you can not find God within your self, you will not find God in any Church, building, Tabernacle,Temple or place of worship. Including Yours. 1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God's Temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 1 John 4:13 And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in Him and He in us. It is the craft of Satan to make us think and speak of the Divine law as uncertain or unreasonable, and so to draw us away from God.
It is our wisdom to keep up a firm belief of God's commands, and a high respect for it. These are not fables , but Divine commands. So than, let no religious Preacher, Minister , Pastor , Church or anybody tell you any different.

Ever wondered why God created you? What was His purpose for giving you a body and placing you on this planet? He does nothing without purpose and intent. 1 Corinthians 3:16-20 You have been given a body to house the Spirit of the living God on this earth. We are not the owners of this body only the managers and stewards and the body is a vehicle given to us to fulfill His plan, will and purpose of God while on earth.

You cannot know the Holy Spirit with lying and deceit.
Why you say that? The holy spirit reproofs. All have sin and come short of their blessings. God has poured out his spirit over All flesh. We have a choice to accept it and repent for lying or deceit. I get what you saying if that person sold out to live with the seed of lying and deceit God place a reprobate mind over them and he does not hear their prayers only prayers of the righteous. Yet, while they are yet in their sins, they can cry out to God, is all I am saying.
