Mqb steering in PQ Passat B7 follow up video after few weeks of usage.

This is a follow up on the steering wheel fitted few weeks ago and just as a reminder is not plug and play in pq platform without extra parts.
Is fitted in a Passat B6 with B7 dash and electronics retrofitted. A b7 in a b6 skin.

Hello! I have a Passat B8 and I want to swap the steering with same as yours. Do you know if an adapter is needed for the existing wire? What about the heating? What you need to do to make it work? Is also hardware work to be done?

You need to change the steering module to B ending part number of yours and the plug will be different on the module. The wheel is actually plug and play if you fit in B8 , check my other video in passat GTE that i fitted different wheel

Wow 👍🏽 😮 ! I would have loved to have the same steering wheel in my 2009 Passat B6 Variant 2L TDI DSG which has an 8 button steering wheel! Do you think it's possible? 😰

Yes it is, with a special module this can be fitted to any pq car.
