  • This we were back in utah for a couple days on a different allotment helping get some missing cows found. We then headed back to Colorado for The Weeknd and got a big bunch of cows moved to the backside of the mtn pasture. We had good help. Hyde fell asleep on the horse after about 4 hours in the saddle. It rained a lot and we are really grateful for that. We will now start our fall gather which we are excited for. You will see some new/familiar faces on next weeks video.

❤🐎🐂🥰 Your filming and post production skills are very good, it's like watching mini movies but better quality and subject matter. 😊
Longer ones would be great but maybe in due time.😁
    Thanks for your videos. 🎉🐎⭐🇺🇸🐂❤️

Hi Ronald, he was definitely locked in, there was also a small heard of cows with the bull and they were making lots of noise. Never did see the bull, but it sure was fun to hear him. Thanks for watching.

Mainly making fences, raising cows on outdoor farms is also very easy

Seems like it was just a couple of weeks ago that you guys were moving the cows to the spring pastures. Time sure flys. Thank You All, and see you next week. Be Safe.

Your's has become my favorite ranch to follow. I love the beautiful scenery. I especially enjoy when your son's are working with you. Who are Jaden and Wayne?

Hi, thanks for watching and thank you for your comments. Jaden is going to be working for us for the next 6 months or so, then he will start school. And Wayne is a full time cowboy that works on the ranch. He is an old school cowboy that is camera shy, so we try to respect his wishes and not film him much. I hope he will let us film him in the future, because he would be an amazing person to get insight from. He is 65 years old and has cowboyed his entire life. Thanks again.

Wayne is one of my very very very favorite people!!!! I'm so sad he doesn't want filmed!!! I cannot tell you how AMAZING he is! Once when I was tiny he caught me mid air from a big horse that bucked me off!!!! He's been my hero long before that though!!!!

P.S. Hey have you seen Anchor Brand Ranch and how their dogs work the cows? The dogs really help a lot, some days they use around a dozen doggies I think!! Just wanted to pass on the info. 🐂🐶🐮🐶❤️

I have seen them, our head dogs, or hold up dogs are similar to theirs, but these cows are so bad in the brush, we need a good heel dog that can get them to come out of the brush and push them up the trail. We use to have heel or push dogs and we got rid of them because the cows started to run away. So we went to hold up dogs because they work better in our country. But definitely rethinking what we are doing. Thanks for watching and thank you for your comments.

@@shawnjack8092 Ahhh yes makes sense. He constantly has to call the doggies back so they don't over push them, I guess it's a fine line. And that green brush by you is really thick, he's more desert so it might be easier to use the heelers in the desert. 🇺🇸
