    Beautiful sculpting. Very realistic looking. I've missed your earlier videos. What do you use for the foundational structure for your elevated terrain, sculpted Styrofoam covered with plaster sheets?
    Great video; thanks for sharing.

    How many silicon mould did that require ? If I cant find the Total joint finish Can I use Gyprock CSR brand ? Did you use Plaster of Paris for the rock molds ?

    • @csxmad
      @csxmad  Před 3 lety

      I had about 5 different moulds that you can keep using, and i got these from hobby shops and the brand
      is Woodland Scenics Rock Moulds. And you should be able to use any sort of plaster. Also i did use Plaster
      of Paris for the rock moulds and i wouldn't use anything else, and this only takes about 30 mins before you
      can take them out and re-pour again cheers Robert

    Goodday Robert i am putting some rooks on my layout from a mould how long does the joint finish take to go off? And it is looking good it will take a bit of painting. Regards Eric

    • @csxmad
      @csxmad  Před 5 lety

      Eric depends on the weather the warmer the better. What plaster are you using for your molds?

    • @eckbron90
      @eckbron90 Před 5 lety

      @@csxmad Hi Rob a 2.5 kg bag of plaster of paris from Bunnings it goes off over night.

    • @csxmad
      @csxmad  Před 5 lety

      @@eckbron90 Very good that was what i was going to tell you to get.
      Sometimes you can take these out of the mould within 1 to 2 hours then they dry better as well.
      I changed from using Joint Compound to plaster or Paris BUT you can only do small amount at a time cheers Robert
