In these type of videos Im trying to show situations on the roads which are for educational and journalistic purposes, so the drivers can learn from others common driving mistakes that resulted to damaging accidents. (3:50) I had a similar incident happen to me, the difference being I was driving a 40 foot long 12ft 8in tall 13 and half ton bus. The driver that hit me said they didn't see me? A total WTF moment.
I was sadly dashcamless, but was waiting in stationary traffic when the car in front of me decided to change lanes, pulling straight into the side of a bright red bus that was waiting in the lane next to them. Like you, they said they didn't see it. I have no words for how confusing that was as an explanation - it's bright red and filling your entire field of vision to that side. Maybe buses secretly have a stealth mode?

i use viofo but sadly was only one option for a duel setup with two camera what can rec on 60fps and 2k a129 plus duel rest seems to be locked at 30fps so less smooth footage but still a good image. before i used two cameras both were great a119 pro the v3 was the last front camera and rear was the a119 pro v2 older gen the older could do 1080p at 60fps and v3 think i still needed it in 1080p for 60fps but could also film in 2k. footage is great audio pretty good too, got some drives on my profile the raw footage stitched together give you an idea footage quality. i can vouch for the a119v2 as that the oldest only just changed over for a129 plus duel but v2 it has been running non stop for last 4 years, only ever needed a new cable after few years and still works now, all parking modes never the best so turned then off forces it to rec 24/7 so the camera for last 4 years rec all the time esp battery bank swap over so that camera worked hard and did not fail me so id say it a good camera, v3 had just over year did not let me down works well and still works same setting rec 24/7 only down sides no wifi on them so to get footage you got to take out memory card, but my new camera to replace both and now only one batter bank at a time in use £160 plus 256GB Card and clip to reduce reflections was £200 so a bargain and holds about 30 hours footage on card from both cameras and wifi you use phone to connect to it open app sync and view and download images it works well but if downloading 70gb then better taking card out hook to computer it faster. still learning the new camera but footage is great just not uploaded any yet, and if want change battery once a day you need 30,000mah size as i use 20,000,ah and uses one and a bit every 24 hours so for me a bigger battery next thing but can hard wire to car if you use car every day , a119 pro v2 & v3 both about £70-80 each so pretty good clear image too. prob the sanction to china why new gen most limited to 30fps esp for one i got and couple of other but maybe one more but not due camera setup. all the footage ive put up is only stitched clips together no editing just raw footage as it more than what i need, its to cover me plus to record drives through pretty areas is why i wanted 60fps last 4 and bit years they worked well and alot others do like them to . have look at footage mine or else where for new cam if it suites what you looking for why not, plus help services were great as could not find cable they helped fast sent me direct links. who knows for how long they be making good ones due chip sanctions but currently still have some good ones with top quality very clear crisp image but that is my experience, if rattle between camera and gps just fold some paper for tighter fit and sorts that out. had three so far and if stay good who knows with sanctions prob by another 2-3 years time. my advice stay away from 20-50£ ones and even cheap better brands as image is questionable £70-100 single camera duel about £160 and 200£ with card and filter but don't cheap out cheap copys on e bay they all the same just a different body, check out top brands and search for footage for camera you interested in if like you should be good . i can only tell you what i use and my experience but many do say they pretty good and not hear and scare story's about them. check many for footage in your price range pic the one what suits best for you, also take in to account the holder its in, mine fully fixed some can move about if hit bad bump or crash another thing to take in to account. good look finding one suits you best

yep uk can park road side, as not sharp corner quite open if safe, not allowed to block driveways or think 20m from a junction or if government road signs or road lines tell you not too so yellow lines edge road. for sure a lot more distracted drivers these days. i park rod side, run two dash cameras front and back both run 24/7 and on battery banks and turned of parking mode functions so it forces it to record non stop also cctv covering whole street too so miss nothing, dash cams to catch number plates as cctv not good getting number plates due low frame rate but front dash cam rec at 60fps and in 2k real sharp clear smooth footage and rear cam 1080p so hd at 30fps both capture number plates good so no hit and run get away without leave plate number and possible even face of driver as clear image, caught one car getting attacked by baseball bat caught the escape car number and next door had two hit and runs in one week so he was happy for the footage even tho he as not to sure cameras to start with but happy now for them
Having cctv and dashcams are always a good idea.
my dashcams run 24/7 same as my cctv you never know when you might need them, but most cctv the frame rate slow so not so good capturing number plates on cars but dash cam well when park i change to 1080p at 60 fps driving i change to 2k at 60fps for front and 1080p 30fps for the back whats plenty. reason change it lower still crisp image 1080p to make card last longer as 2k at 60fps that nearly a gb much less than that at 1080p 60fps. cctv caught two hit and run next door car and bike and a car being attacked by baseball bat and caught the getaway car and a garage abusing my car and saying it to his work mate so that paid for my dash cam cost so well worth having cameras i run mine on battery bank and turn of parking mode and settings related to that so t rec 24/7 and do not use car every day so battery bank best option. used cameras over 4 years now would not drive without them and extra cctv when at home @@AVCH
When the car hit the bus that was a police chase because there was a cop holding a gun at the driver and there were alot of cops
